LOL....I love this stuff. I agree with the statement..."people got sick of me bringing them starter bags." I kept some going one time for close to a year. I was making it for EVERY single event possible (church, tennis matches, work). It got to the point that people specifically asked me to buy something "store bought." They were sick of the bread. You can do so much with the bread, though. Add bananas and nuts to make banana nut bread, add blueberries for blueberry muffins, strawberries, etc. Yummy! I think I have the recipe somewhere in some drawer. I'll try to find it tomorr

I am sorry for the employees as well but I agree that the 7 Hills location was far better. We live right across the street from the New Hope one and quit going to them over a year ago due to SEVERAL incidents on several separate occassions. We alerted their *managers* as well as mentioned the problems to their staff. Finally decided it just wasn't going to change. It is terrible that we had to go to Hiram or down to the Crossroads or Dallas Highway to eat out when something so convenient was right there. Mud Island concerts were the best! I still remember seeing Don Henley during a tornado warning and severe thunderstorm there one night. He played throughout the storm and we all just got soaking wet but didn't care. (had nothing to do with all the *drinks* we were consuming) LOL...I think back now and realize we could've been killed that night by the lightning. So worth it!!!!! *grin*

The Pink Palace Museum is definitely a great place to take the kids. There are a lot of cool and educational things there. The Children's Museum on Central Ave. (midtown) is good, too. Ditto on the Sun Studios tour. Beale has some good restaurants. Also the trolley cars are kinda cool. Memphis has gotten scarier these last few years, but you really are ok pretty much anywhere during the day as long as you keep your eyes open for any possible problems.

I really enjoyed making this one. It's for my first grandbaby. She is due in May. (and yes, her name is Delta...LOL...Delta Elizabeth) The baby shower is this weekend and I wanted to try my hand at making this. After I saw how much FUN I had with it and the possibilities for other designs, I was hooked. I saw some blogs on the wreaths and bears, etc. They looked interesting, too. It's so funny how things have changed since my boys were born. SOC

Yea, the biggest thing was I thought it was a cool piece of furniture and wanted to share. I know the pricing is a little steep, but again, like all our items, it is very good quality and would last for years. Plus, it's a multi-use piece, not just an ottoman or just a twin bed.
