We went to today around 4:00. Perfect timing as there was only about 10 other customers there. Place was filling up when we left around 5:00. Awesome atmosphere, nice staff, GREAT food.(Hubby had fajitas. I had fajita nachos.) Good prices. As one poster stated, the chips are multi-colored and not too salty. Salsa is good with a little "kick." They were quick to refill our chips when we were starting to run empty. *grin* Ordered frozen margarita but the machine was not ready. (sigh) They told me that they did indeed underestimate last night's response. They had no idea why

LMAO!!! I was drinking a glass of water and spewed it all over my laptop!

Yep! Hubby just traveled to SC last week and he said it was $2.70 gallon. We are definitely being ripped off.

Thanks, Pubby (for the reply and the assumption that I'm not elderly...LOL) :-)

We appealed our property taxes last week and received a letter today that stated they felt our case was more compelling. However, they only decreased the value by $9K. We presented evidence showing that our valuation should really be around $40K less. I'm thinking about appealing to Superior Court but wondered if anyone on here has done that before and if so, what was your experience? Thanks so much!

Don't know you at all but definitely just sent up a special prayer for you. Your paulding.com ID says mountains about you whether you know it or not. *smile* Anyone who chooses the ID "Spunkywoman" has something inside her that will help her through this VERY TEMPORARY phase in her life. Reach deep inside yourself and find it. It's there. It's up to you to make the first step. Also, don't give up on finding someone that you can date. There's someone for everyone. Again, you have to sometimes put effort into something you truly want. (not saying you haven't...but don't give up.)

10:30 at night and all the lights at the tennis court blaring.... (Mt Tabor Park) Not a soul in sight. :-)
-
I don't know about the other parks in the county but I ride by Mt. Tabor many times late at night on my way home from school and the tennis court lights are blaring with no tennis players in sight. I would think that a timer or some sort of mechanism that cuts the lights off automatically after a certain period of time could save some $$$$.

We took our granddaughter tonight to see Santa. He was the absolute best one we have ever seen. He was awesome with her and the photos were very good and very inexpensive! Thank you so much, Santa!

Remember if nobody claims the Auburn one, I would love to have it. (formally SouthernFurnitureUnlimited) :-)

I'll take the Auburn one if you haven't sold it yet! :-) Thanks!

I see that you got my money through PayPal. Can I come by tomorrow night around 6:00 or 6:30 to pick up mine? :-) Thanks!

Just did it again...LOL...let me know if you see it in a little bit. If you don't get it this time, I'll just have to make myself get over there ASAP. Busy, busy last few days. I definitely want the Pink and Blue ones, so please keep for me. Thanks!!!! Leilani

We had several street signs knocked down in our subdivision late Thursday (9/16/10) night. Several of our streets are now without stop signs and street name markers. This could be extremely dangerous if an emergency vehicle needed to find a certain address. We wondered if this has happened in any other area in Paulding County lately and if anyone has any info about the vandals. Thanks!

About 30 minutes. Nothing like Atlanta traffic....LOL..I miss that..

I second the "Batesville is VERY safe" comment. That's my hometown. You are correct that Ground Zero is a must see in Clarksdale and yes, the blues festival would be a great choice to attend. It's UNBELIEVABLE how much talent is in that area.

Here's one question that I have: How many LEGAL students cannot get into a KSU class because an ILLEGAL student has taken the spot? I am currently trying to finish an Accounting degree. I only have 4 classes left and they are required, yet I cannot get into them because they are all full. It is frustrating to begin with because I felt that KSU over-enrolled regular students then I find out that there is one illegal student taxing the system. Led me to believe that there are more than just her there...... How many of them are taking my place in class?

So sorry to hear this. We met him last year when he bought an office chair from us. Such a nice person. Although in poor health, he always seemed to be trying to help others. RIP, Thomas.
