My kids friends are welcome to walk right in!! At least the ones that are around all the time. My home is their home. They are always welcome. My 2 best friends and I were always the same way growing up as teens. I walked right in their houses, and they walked right into mine. We were all very close, and the same with their parents. One of the girls lives in another state now, and I don't see the parents often, but if I am on that side of town, I give a knock and a holler as I open their door. Last time was last Christmas I think.

I thought so too. I was trying to figure out what kind of special units they may have in Chattanoogo.

I just spoke with my friend again, and they have confirmed that one girl passed away due to the accident. The male was air lifted to Chattanoogo. Does anyone know why they would have done this? I was thinking there might be a burn unit or something there. I don't know anything about the accident, so don't know if there is even a possibility of burns. Just wondering what kind of specialist there might be there, instead of Grady or something closer.

I just had a friend call me and ask if I knew anything about an accident on Nebo sometime between 3 and 5. He knows I listen to the scanner a lot and get on here, so he thought I could help him get some info. He has been told it was a couple of his friends in a car accident. He heard one did not make it, but they can't figure out where they took either one of them. If any one has any information, please post it. Since they changed the way we listen to the scanner, I can't figure out how to go back and listen to the archives.

I have a relative that works for this company and sells these steaks, but I would not ever buy them. Not even from him. I don't trust it.

No. It was not in a flooded area at all. And the post that it was attached to is still standing. We also know that DOT did not pull it up. The homeowner gave permission for it to be there, and even allowed a candlelight vigile there once. It just seems as though someone took it. The original one that was placed there was taken down at one point, and replaced with a beautiful new cross. Someone really took the time to make that cross, and people are heart broken that it is no longer there.

DOT did not do it. I would like to see another put back before the 29th. I think I will try to get some people together to put another out there.

The anniversary of the death of Mick Davis, PCSO, is October 29th. He was hit head on and killed on Ridge Rd. Last week the cross was removed by some unknown person. It did not even last a year. So sad that people don't have enough respect for our officers, or loved ones, to leave the cross up.

Well for me, it was the only time in years he lasted more than 2 minutes, and in the end, I was the only one satisfied. Bout darn time!! LOL
