I just locked in with Gas South for .79/therm for 1 yr. Someone on here had posted a promotional code they received in the mail. Then my boss turned around and called and locked in at 6 mos with the same company, using the same promotional code, and got .68/therm. She watches natural gas really carefully and says it should go down in the next 6 months and she did not want to be locked in at the higher rate I was. Makes sense to me, but it was too late. I would recommend 6 months I think. I am happy with the .79 though. I was paying .89 before. The promotion only went through 2/

I sent 8 trash bags and boxes full of clothes and other stuff to Birdmom's thrift store. The other stuff was non-working or broken items. But sounds like it would not matter for this. They could have used them as props. I just never thought about that, but will know better next time. Mark, I will come just to cheer on you on! You are awesome and so talented and I would love to see the end results. You didn't tell me about this while I was cleaning out to move, so I didn't know.

Yesterday, the owner of Hickory Hut in downtown Dallas, called and asked that I come on here and FB and let everyone know they are now re-opened for business. Many of you know that a car went through the front of the building and did some major damage. They have done the necessary repairs needed, and were able to reopen yesterday. Go in and get some of THE BEST BBQ around. Thank you and spread the word please!!!

Thank you Heyjustme! I will call them first thing this morning and try to get locked into that rate. I saw one of the companies on-line that said .79 for the first month only and then .94 for the remaining months. You are saying this is for one year fixed at that rate though right?

Yea, I really do too. I think I will just stick with them. Another plus about staying with them is the fact that they won't require any kind of deposit because I am an existing customer.

Sound Guy....this would be for the fixed rate. For 2 yrs straight I had the .87/therm fixed rate. I checked Walton, and there is the same rate as Scana right now, with fixed 12 months at .94/therm or 6 months at .91/therm. From looking at their website, this is the price for every one now. It just went up across the board. Caroline Eliz., it's just been a much colder winter than usual. In Nov. my bill was $77, Dec. it was $162 and this time it was $219. Same price per therm, but we used a lot more. I paid way ahead all year long, so I had a credit of $185 before this bill dropped

another topic for another service. The gas provider I have been using for the past couple of years, just raised the rate from .87/therm, to .94/therm. I have always paid way ahead on my bill, and don't think it's right that they are raising my rate. It's probably across the board, but none the less, thought I would check and see who others are using, and how much they are paying. We are moving at the end of the week, so I need to do something now. Who do you use and how much are they charging?
