Thank you for all the opinions and information. I called AT&T this morning, and their customer service has not changed a bit. Still horrible. On hold for over 10 minutes, listening the recording about their "award winning" customer service, after going through their horrible automated system for 5 minutes before that. Once someone got on the phone with me, they said they do not service our house yet. They do service our friend who lives about 10 houses down though. Makes no sense to me. But, in the end, we will not be using them. I have decided to go back with DISH instead.

The only reason I want home phone robin, is because my 10 yo is home for brief periods of time by himself and does not have a cell. We only use it so we can talk during those time. If it weren't for that, I would not have one either. Thank you!

I have been skeptical to go back to AT&T. I had it before and it seemed like I had problems all the time. Mainly with the bills never being what it should have been. I told them I did not want 3 way and some other features on my phone and to block them. Instead of blocking them, they removed them from my package and then my daughter still used the feature. I got the next bill and it was way more than I expected. They refused to fix it so I cancelled with them. That's why I am a little hesitant about going with them again. That's the reason I am keeping that part with Comcast.

Thank you! Their website says it's not available at our new address, but we have a friend that lives on that street, and they have it. It's a little hard to understand their website when trying to get info on just the TV part. The way I understand it, it's $64/mos, and then each DVR box is another $7, and we need one for each TV. Dish Network is $5/box and one can work 2 TV's and you each person can control what they watch. We will have 7 TV's that need to have service on them. I just hate to choose the wrong thing, have problems and be stuck in a contract.

We are moving this week, and I am trying to decide who to use for cable. I have Comcast and will keep them for internet and home phone, but don't care for their cable. I would love some people who use AT&T U-verse to give me their opinions. All pros and cons.

Wow. I know the person in the top picture. He is/was the manager of the Dairy Queen in Powder Springs. I have had MANY conversations with him. I am shocked.

I LOVE THE DOCTOR'S. I have actually learned A LOT from watching this show. Last Christmas, I weighed in at 180. I knew I needed to do something. Since then, I have learned A LOT about weight loss. I will admit, I started off going to Dr. Vitkins in Hiram. I did use their medication, but not like they recommended. I was supposed to take 3 pills a day, and follow their guidelines. I never took the 3 pills a day. I would take one in the morning, and another mid-day. Eventually I even cut back to just one. I did this for a few months, but I am now finished with them. I did

I can make some awesome chicken and dumplings, but I cheat a little. If you are going to try it for the first time, I HIGHLY suggest that you buy a rotisserie chicken already cooked from the grocery store. I also buy large containers of chicken broth and use Mary B's frozen dumplings. I add in a can of cream of chicken and a can full of milk. Then I add in several seasonings. My family loves these and request me to make them all the time. This way is much easier and much faster than cooking the entire chicken yourself.

I have a situation I am trying to deal with right now, and needed info on someone's record here in Paulding. I went to the Court clerk's office. All records after the age of 18 are open to the public. They gave me all the information they had on this person. They could not tell me over the phone, and it is not available on the internet. We are not expected to get more than 1/2 inch here, and I think it's going to be a mixture. It's not supposed to start until about 4 and be done by 8. I am not counting on much. Then temps aren't going to get out of the 20s for several days. I think the ice on the roads, even if we do only get 1/2 inch, could cause some problems, but I don't think there will be anything for the kids to go out and play in.

That's what I was thinking about doing. Going LATE tonight and EARLY tomorrow morning. That gives me time to see what i have, see what I still need, and organize it all. I like going prepared. LOL

OK. So I am TOTALLY oblivious to the game systems with internet capabilities. Do you have to sign up for service for that, and if so, what does it cost? Anyone else know if the older games can be played on the DSi?

I still need to get another good present for my youngest son. He has an old gameboy system. I am thinking about getting him one of the newest ones. What is the newest ones out there, and how much do they run?
