  1. This has NOTHING to do with looting and burning down your own neighborhood. Zip. Zilch. Nada.
  2. How are looters being treated like animals?
  3. This is not mom of 3, but her hubby. I too work in poor neighborhoods every single day of my working life. I understand despair and disadvantage. However, these people in Ferguson know that they are doing wrong. They are taking advantage of a bad situation and using it for their own, illegal, personal gain. I understand, but do not condone, rioting borne of the feeling of powerlessness and the desire to strike back, no matter the personal cost. But using this situation to STEAL is WRONG. One of the cornerstones of our personal philosophy is that every single human being chooses their pa
  4. Even if that's what they are acting like?
  5. Maybe they'll keep his sorry little, punka$$ in jail this time. But that's probably too much to hope for. A criminal in jail.................what are the odds?
  6. So because Hibbetts makes a profit and pays minimum wage, it's somehow understandable? OK. Lots of people can't pay their bills and don't turn to looting to benefit themselves.
  7. Apparently. They deserved what they got just like Hibbetts I suppose because a cop shot a kid they probably didn't even know. Makes sense to me.
  8. That's true too. But if they didn't know it was wrong, they wouldn't be running and hiding their faces from cameras. So, they DO know the difference, they just choose to do wrong. It's about choices, and unfortunately when you make bad ones, you are labeled for those very choices. There's still no excuse for that behavior. ^^^This. Exactly!
  9. Wow, that makes my heart hurt. Two GREAT talents gone because of this unspoken darkness they shared.
  10. I'm not missing the point at all, but you keep saying that 'it's only THC'. My point is, that while it may now be 'only THC', the fact is that before too long, it's going to be something far worse in an innocuous item like chapstick. What is your problem with this concern?
  11. No, I didn't miss the point, because there wasn't a valid point in your statement. You are the only person to bring race into a conversation that has nothing to do with the color of your skin. It has to do with being a looting, criminal.
  12. Yes, at this time. But a drug dealer will experiment with stronger and stronger drugs in the same medium, in this case wax, to deliver the highs that people want. So that THC could turn into something very dangerous with the making of one batch. Remember that LSD was/is put on postage stamps to be absorbed through the tongue. You don't think it could just as easily be put into wax in a lip balm container?
  13. It's very brave of you to share this, so thank you! I hope that the death of Robin Williams has this effect on others suffering from this awful disease and not the one I'm more fearful of. That 'if RW couldn't handle depression, then I certainly can't' and they follow in his footsteps. That concerns me to no end. I do wish you peace.................alive and well peace.
  14. While illegal here in GA., I'm not sure I'd classify this as 'new and dangerous'. But of course, like any drug medium, it could be made with different ingredients besides marijuana oil and therein lies the danger, IMO.
  15. Who said anything about race? I saw white people running from the QT and Hibbetts with arm loads full of booty. Looting isn't exclusive to a race. And how on Gods green earth is this political? Oh wait, it's not. It's criminal.
  16. I agree. And if they are a good person, then I don't care who's the mom/dad, dad/mom, it's none of my business.
  17. Exactly my point. And you can't defend looting tennis shoes and electronics regardless of the circumstances. Food and water after Katrina, when those people had no help is one thing, big ticket items are still off limits, it's that mentality that I have a problem with.
  18. As Hubby always says, 'Chlorine in the gene pool, baby'.
  19. Unfortunately, as horrible as that sounds, I have to agree. And his mother was OK with this? GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZ!!!!
  20. Thank you! It's amazing to me that every single thing on the planet can be made political. Suicide, kids riding a bike, a dog run over in the street. People are nuts, from posters on Pcom all the way to the people who pretend to supply 'facts'. It's nauseating.
  21. Yea, he was a real A$$HAT for sure. Even if you feel that way, as a tv personality don't you have a bigger responsibility to keep your unkind opinions to yourself? Just report the truth people. Never mind , it's the media. Would they know the truth if it bit them on the behind? That's debatable at best.
