I'll be 51 years old in a week and never once have I ever been harrassed by the police, shot at by the police, arrested, etc. Nor has Hubby, my daughters, nieces, nephew, sister, mother, none of my friends, so on and so forth. Could it be because we have never put ourselves in the situation so many others put themselves in by acting foolish, criminal and belligerent? When you act a fool, sometimes you get treated like a fool and the consequences for those actions can be deadly. Whose fault is it then?

Has anyone read the AJC article in the paper this morning regarding this story? I tried to cut and paste but I couldn't get it to work. It brings up the fact that the dead woman and the other women with her were Muslim and were wearing traditional wardrobe of Muslim women who are out in public. OK. Then it says it's not sure if the shooter saw the women before the shooting. It seemed to imply, at least to me, that the women could have been shot at because they were Muslim.
