  1. I have a bigger question for all of us..............Why do we care? She left him, he shot a kid, he has a checkered past at best, he can't cut it as a real cop so he pretends to be one, to some he's a hero and to some he's a murderer. I think he's not the brightest bulb in the box because he dodged a bullet by being acquitted for this kids death. Whether you believe he's innocent or guilty, the verdict could have gone either way. I just think a wise person would be thankful and try their best to stay out of the news, either for speeding, domestic disturbances, or even rescuing people from
  2. I was thinking those same things too. Thanks, I read it wrong!
  3. I understand that situation, but you can't go to someone elses property brandishing a firearm in a place you shouldn't even be and then use stand your ground as a defense can you? That would be like an armed intruder shooting me while I was pointing a gun at him and then he cries, 'I was afraid for my life'. There needs to be a clearer meaning. Where does your ground begin and the bad guys end?
  4. Wow, they have some cool looking things!
  5. Hubby is the same way. Animals L-O-V-E him. He'll sit on the sofa with 2 dogs at his feet, the cat on his shoulder and the fish looking longingly out of his bowl at him. It's too funny.
  6. Cats are evil, I'm not sure they count.
  7. And if he's not careful, he may be the one popped next time. You can threaten only so many people with a gun before your actions backfire on you.
  8. Pretty crazy, huh? I wonder how people would feel if an angry, armed, hero want to be, nutbag was skulking around their neighborhood looking for trouble with a loaded gun? He should have had is a$$ at home and none of us would be having this very old conversation. Unfortunately, when you go looking for trouble, you usually find it and because of his hunt, a kid is dead. Seems justifiable and reasonable to me.
  9. Don't you realize that none of those situations were his fault? He's the victim here mrnn, sheeeesh! A victim with a gun and and volatile temper. Bless his heart. Well if FOX says it, it must be true!
  10. .................the world may never know!!!! As we are all aware, when news like this comes down the pike, it takes hours for anyone to get it right. Reporters are so concerned with 'getting the scoop' they'll say just about anything to get their story out there first. Could be nothing, could be something. We can see that there are several different versions on Pcom already and I doubt any of us are making things up, just typing what we heard or read. Love the media!!
  11. Let's be honest, there is no way to keep an impaired person from driving. It goes along with the mentality of 'I'm going to do what I want, consequences be damned'. My MIL is one of those people, 4 times in rehab for prescription drug addiction and abuse, never stopped her from driving and coming home with damage to her vehicle, never knowing how it got there. Missing mirrors, door handles, blue, red or black paint scrapes (her car is gold), etc. We called the DMV and they said they could do nothing unless she was stopped or involved in an accident. It's very frustrating. People who drink
  12. I just read that she said that he threatened her with a gun. I wonder if he was standing his ground again......oh wait.........it happened at her fathers house.
  13. That is tooooo great!!!!!!!!! I'm convinced that if a person loves animals and animals love them, they have a good heart. Animals and kids know who to bite even if we can't see it!!!
  14. So, it's OK for an officer to text and drive and hit someone head on because they are driving with their wrists? Good to know. And my disdain isn't for you, it's for the idiot that thought exempting anyone from the law was a good idea.
