Hardly seems like a wise comment (toward anyone) considering your business model.

I have also did a little checking on the candidates,And took the time to research some records of the prospective candidates in the Post 2 race.     I listened to the candidates speech at the Past

I bet that you have an Obama sticker on your vehicle, how do you like the"change" as our country is being flushed down the toilet with liberalism and socialism and no personal accountability. I bet yo

Given the dire economic issues facing our county

this trivial nonsense is the least of my concerns...

Taxes, economic growth, infrastructure, unemployment, quality of life;

are important issues that voters should be focusing on in this election.

Does he work for a health care provider?

And Avery qualified in the 19th District as a "student". He's now being listed as a historian/educator. rolleyes.gif

Stout qualified as a community banker and his website still lists him as such, however, Pubby is claiming he quit his job to become a "consultant". rolleyes.gif

I would love to be given the opportunity to explain why it was listed like that. When I filled out my qualifying paper work I listed student. However, as I am getting a graduate degree in southern history from the University of West Georgia, I help support my family by teaching American History survey courses to undergraduate students. I also do research for another history professor at UWG. I don't see how this is a problem?

I have met with Will and was quite impressed.

As I understand it he is a student, working to finish his Masters at West Georgia University in Southern Political History and is also on Staff at WGU where he teaches history.

So yes, he is a student, historian, and an educator.

As I recall, both of his parents are educators, in Swainsboro, Ga. where he grew up, and one of his grandparents as well. His wife is a teacher at North Paulding High School.

I think having an educator representing the people of Paulding County might well be much more appropriate than a lawyer, banker, or home builder. Our education system is definitely going to be needing all the help it can get these next few years.

The initial impression was that you were a 29 yo "professional student". Having heard more of the story, I understand and respect what you are doing. But, in some ways, it now appears as some waffling.

Quite frankly, after review Mr. Stout's "voting record" from his website, I think an attorney would have been a much better option. Hell, we should have just saved the money spent on a special election and had ole Sonny appoint someone.

I definitely understand how it could appear that way, but just to clear the record on this, I was unaware that the information I posted as to my occupation (being listed as student) was to be posted on the SOS website. As soon as I saw it that afternoon, I called the SOS and had it changed.

As of now, I am the only candidate that is being open about his campaign and has been willing to address the viewers and posters of Pcom. I welcome any comments, criticisms, or questions that any of you have to ask, and will answer anything honestly and openly in a public forum.

Madea:

I'm not claiming he is a consultant. Watch the interview - he said he was a small business consultant and no longer associated with the bank in Smyrna.

Does that mean that you think any candidate who does not choose to come on P.com is NOT being open? I think that would be quite a stretch!

Absolutely not!! But I have seen the desire for many of you on Pcom to have candidates post on here, and I think it is a good forum to talk to people. People on here are sometimes brutal in here. They say things that they are thinking and feeling that they normally would not say. I appreciate that and think that it is good for all people involved to be engaged in these types of conversations.

BB

I know you personally, And you are a much smarter person than to ask such dumb questions.

That reminds me of your support for Glen Richardson, When the story first popped on him over a year prior to his resignation from the speakers job in disgrace. All kind of praise and glory was heaped upon him, And the local Republicans rallied aroind him. Even though fox 5 had the goods on him.

Was Glen Charged with a crime, Or anyone of his staff?

I did notice that the king did repay some of the money back to the facility group, And I believe he did have to pay a fee for some sort of a penatly?

It also reminds me of the allegations made last election against a Democrat in Post 1 Were they dropped?

Look let's talk about important stuff,Like Whitey and his great garden! I just drove by there and his garden is the best I have seen. You live in a nice neighborhood close to that nice park! With those Todd Pownall signs,is that his area?

And how absurd is it for anyone to think that if a candidate doesn't choose paulding.com as an avenue of campaigning, that they must be "skirting issues"? As if there are not a multitude of other ways to campaign....

I mean just think about it.....here is an analogy - I'm so big and bad, I can sit here in front of my little computer all day behind my anonymous screen name, type all kinds of accusations about candidates (and others) without proof, and I THINK it is okay (key word is think) because I am entitled to my free speech, no limits, nothing to worry about, nobody will ever know its me, etc., etc., etc. Like I said, key word is THINK.

Here is an example in this thread: Post # 11

No, I meant exactly what I typed. I wasn't referring to this thread, I was referring to Biker Dave's post in the thread I linked, post # 11.

P. S. Your link doesn't work, mine works fine - are you just not thinking?
