I've never heard any proposal to make arming the staff mandatory. The very fact that there is, or even might be, armed resistance to a school shooter might be a deterrent in and of itself. There is no one solution, nor are there any suggestions that ought to be rejected out of hand.

The Paulding GOP organized it. Another one will be this Thurs at 6:45 at Chatt Tech for Post 4 and 2 school board seats. However, several of the candidates signed a letter/memo refusing to participate. It was in the New Era and on FB.
