  1. And Socialism is like free beer that somebody else pays for. Until you run out.
  2. Uhhhh...no it isn't. Slander is spoken. Libel is written. And neither term applies if the comment is factually true.
  3. Isn't there a bottle of vodka somewhere calling your name? Of all the reasons that P.com has dwindled in popularity, I'd guess your 50,000 ignorant posts are near the top of the list.
  4. Yeah, it's all those conservative capitalists' fault that a Socialist owned house organ isn't raking in big bucks.
  5. Here I thought you were a reporter? Why don't you find out for us?
  6. Yeah. This^^^^^^^^^^. And the local "news" seems to be totally focused on what fake news the Paulding 6 and their anti airport cronies can conjure up. Yep. "A" being singular in nature.
  7. Yeah, What was Putin's role in all of this? I mean, since you are on such a witchhunt, don't leave any piece of phony news out of this.
  8. Yep. Pass that along to the Chicken World 4 and the rest of the antis'.
  9. Oh, boo hoo! It's totally laughable for you to refer to Mr. Carmichael as inexperienced and incompetent. And, IRRC, you were leading the pack for Robbie?
  10. And look at whose screen name is Latin for Bull Feces. Which is exactly what your argument is.
  11. Sort of like Hillary selling uranium and Obama sending pallets of $100 bills overseas? If it weren't for double standards, the libs would have none at all.
  12. And the hypocrisy of a loony leftist ranting about higher standards is priceless.
  13. And if the "culprit" were, say, oh, maybe Starbucks...would this have ever made even page 42 of the papers? I think not.
  14. Unless the real estate contract between the City and Paulding for the 157 acres in question specifically says NO commercial (passenger) traffic, what was said verbally during negotiations has no legal standing. The fact that the deed wasn't recorded promptly has no bearing on anything. What Todd or Vernon may have said in some commission work session isn't germane to the situation...because neither of them were holding office when the sale of the parcel took place.
  15. So, Whitey, whose mouthpiece are you being these days? Too many big words and correct spelling and grammar to have been anything you composed.
  16. And what the obstructionist antis' are missing is that UPS or FedEx could use SCF as a cargo airport and land 737's there 24/7/365 and all the pissing and moaning about trying to block the Part 139 application would be for naught. Part 139 only tells an airline that the physical plant, i.e., the runways, taxiways, radio system, terminal, etc., are up to minimum standards to handle passenger aircraft. Nothing else. Sort of like a truck line knowing that the Interstate system physical standards will handle their trucks without the pavement crumbling or any overpasses being too low, etc.
  17. I know that name. But I'm stumped as to where from? Sorry for your loss.
  18. Why would you care? You never followed them anyway.
  19. I wonder if Huma cleared the plans with the EPA? Burial of toxic waste, and all that?
  20. And if some terrorist with a "cause" had picked Shelton as a target, we might be calling this lady a hero.
  21. Oh, Hell yes! I just couldn't remember all their sorry names.
  22. What happened 30 plus years ago in the HJIA environs is largely attributable to the City of Atlanta Mayoralty. I recently flew in and out of Lambert Field in St Louis. The area generally looked better, not worse, than it did 30 years ago when I lived there. The City of Bridgeton (where the airport is located) took charge of zoning and enforcement and has managed the area very well. The fact that an area has turned into a ghetto is not directly attributable to the fact that an airport is nearby. More likely the blame falls on corrupt, inept elected officials. Can you say Bil
  23. Thank you, that's not a name that I easily remembered. What was funny was that Davis was "frightened" of a man with Linnenkohl's qualifications. Maybe because HL couldn't be "bought"?
