Does anyone else have an issue with the traffic in the North Paulding, McClure, Burnt Hickory elem complex? Every morning the Elem school has tons of people still dropping off at 8:00 and even after, which blocks the traffic going to the high school. I thought elem students were late at 8:01 and if not they should be. It causes a terrible traffic jam because the traffic director stops traffic going to the high school and completely empties out the elem school lot. In the afternoons you have 2 schools, the high school and the Middle school trying to empty traffic onto one deadlocked road. Yes

It starts at 2:00.

Does anyone know what the lineup is for the christmas parade? Which bands are 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.......

When husband was layed off from work we tried a lot of generic brands. I found that we like wal mat great value country style grits better than the name brand. I also like diet sams out of the 2 ltr, but not the cans because you can taste the can. There were lots of other generics we liked also. I found out by talking to a kroger employee that their organic ketchup taste just like heinze so now I buy which ever is least expensive.

my son has his removed back in August & he had absolutely no problems. The dr. we used was very professional & we had a great experience. His name is Dr. Nadler & was with Northwest oral and maxillofacial surgery at the time, but told us he was opening his own private practice in Woodstock. His number is listed as 770-924-1083. I will look him up when my daughter needs hers removed (probably next summer) becaused we were more than pleased with him. My medical insurance paid all but $30.00 when my sons was removed this summer.

Bands usually don't decide this early if they are going to perform or not. He will probably let the kids know before school gets out or you may get a calling post or an email depending on how your band handles this. Usually they show up at the band room & then see if the rain lets up.

Maybe the school needs to send home a quick reminder of the rules of red lights, stop signs & who has to to yeild when & where. Also the students leaving the front parking lot after school run the stop sign. I have been almost creamed many times leaving from the other parking lot by the side of the building where the buses pickup & drop off. Leaving the side lot you don't have a stop sign at all.

Now that would embrass them & we can't do that.

I agree totally with you. My kids know if they make bad grades, the car goes. We won't allow them to sit in class, do nothing & get passed along just barely making it to the next grade & then they do not have a chance of getting into a decent college.

I agree with you also they need an education of some sort, but letting them sit in class & be disruptive to the rest of the students to the point that the teacher constantly has to fuss at them and discipline them is not a good solution either. No one learns anything when this happens.

That would work out great if they actually got the diploma. They usually just sit in class until they turn 18 & many times they are a behavior problem.

I really wish they would change that law. There are so many teens there that are only there because of the license & they have no desire to be at school. They aren't accomplishing anything by making them stay, just my opinion.

For your information I believe when a person has a green light and you are turning right on red you have to YEILD! Yesterday I was following my son to school and we were crossing East Paulding Drive coming from Holland rd. We had the right of way because our light was green. Some lady that was driving her teen to school had the nerve to almost hit my son because I guess she was tired of waiting to turn right on red. She stuck the nose of her vehicle out in front of him & he had to slam on his brakes to keep from hitting her, & she shot him a bird. He went to park in the parking lot &a

Husband had to replace some pipes leading from the meter to the sprinkler system because of a leak. Now the water is back on & it is not leaking, but we where a whistling or squealing noise in the pipes in the basement when we run water, shower, etc. and around the washer as the washer fills with water. What could cause that?

This is discusting. We were at Sun Valley a few years ago w/ my inlaws. They have a child that was 4ish at the time & she got diarhea and we did not know she was sick. She made a mess in the pool, I told a life guard and they said its ok we don't have to close the pool theres enough chemicals in here to kill anything. This was in the kiddie end of the pool.

Don't know if Code Brown is the offical name for Poop in the pool or just what the guards call it. Either way I don't think its fair when guards plan their week around their work schedule & then don't get to work & get paid because a parent doesn't take their kid to the potty enough. I guess I could understand if the kid was sick & had an accident, but then again they wouldn't have any business at the pool or any where else making others sick.

This happened like a week ago at a pool that my son guards at Bentwater. He was called & told not to come to work because they were closing the pool due to a code brown. I think that mom should have to pay the lifeguard what they would have made if they had of been able to work that day. The guards just loose out!

Anyone had a good experience with a car dealership purchashing a used car. We have been looking for about a mth. with no luck for a used vehicle for my son. If you had a good experience somewhere I would love to know about it. It would also be nice to know who to stay away from.

He was really talented, but what my daughter has gotten from watching all the buzz bout him is how much he cared about people & how much money he raised & donated to charities. I'm with her, if all the other stars were to give of their time & money they way he did just imagine.
