Wow ... y'all have some menus going on!! Having slow smoked pork ribs which have been marinating in an apple juice/cider sauce, making a bbq sauce to go with it & it has apple juice, molasses, tomato paste, onions & spices. Italian style cole slaw which includes vidalia onion slices. Might cook up the corn on the cob. Fresh cantelope or strawberries/blueberries for dessert. Sorry to hear of the death in the family gwilli8866, safe travels wishes ....

McCormick has some great spice mixes -- we like Montreal. Weber has great mixes too - Liking Chicago at this time Plain pepper with garlic salt or laries (sp?) is good too .... Worchestershire Sauce Dale's ^^ both are other choices I tend to think of what might be served to determine the spices to use .... like what cheese might be offered, what sides are being presented, etc ..... I don't want a spicy burger and spicy sides, I like more of a balance (if that makes sense)

^ my thoughts too! Have others help you prepare and set up, get "fancied" yourself and then BAM - Married! .... Party in the house & yard and with those that mean a lot to you. You might want to borrow/rent a few of those "shelters" which people use at the beach or craft sales (can't think of what they are called ), in case of rain .... &/or move furniture around to having inside gathering areas, maybe with rented/borrowed chairs. Everything else should be what means something to you and your gals - simple food, good company and great memories! HAVE FUN!
