As MEvans said, the Public Safety Appreciation is still on. Checking the radar, there is a small band of rain moving this way but not seeing much before or after that band of rain.

We used to but the one psycho moved. But now, all that remain, we are now pretty much friendly and gotten over the past.

Did I say it was the seasonal flu? Do you think I don't monitor such issues? I don't need the CDC to tell me what it is and what it isn't. For me, it is not worth it "at this time."

I agree with your assessment. I asked my doctor about it and my doctor has seen first hand as she has had some cases, reads up on it and does her research on the matter. Her view at this point is that possibly the very young and the the elderly, especially if they have other illnesses may need to get one. Everyone else in between, it is up in the air at this point. I trust her views and professional opinion, more than I can say about this present government and the media.

I am still not buying into it yet and I do get the regular flu shot every year because that is worth it but this one is not, for me anyway, to that level yet.

The regular flu wrecks havoc every fall, so nothing new and I believe it is being hyped-up more than it should be. Media acts like the end of the world is coming. Now, if it was Ebola, then I am in. Until then, no shot for me.

I for one do not plan to get one at this time. Even my own doctor is not concerned about getting one either. Swine flu has always been around, so it is not a new disease.

I'm in Remington too so I am happy it wasn't just me. If it was a sonic boom, it can happen here as I have seen military jets fly over...saw 2 fighter jets fly over Remington last week. We are not far from Dobbins AFB.

Wow...not good...so say who they are.

Well it wasn't thunder but the sonic boom is a possibility. I remember hearing one in Germany while I was outside in the day time and it sounded like a house exploded. Turns out, it was the SR-71 Spy plane flying the East German border. This one last night wasn't as loud but it could have been.

Okay...still haven't heard anything. So who knows I guess of what it was.
