I was born with some heart problems and had sugery. I still have palpitations.....pretty regularly. I need another surgery but that is a different subjecl. However, the ONLY thing that stops the palpitations is coughing. Works every time!

Thank you all. She i currently staying with the original "potential host family" in Newnan. I don't know if it's permanent yet. There is a premanent home for her in Michigan, but I am doing what I can to keep her in Ga. For those of you who contacted me, PLEASE let me know if you are interested. I will have students to place in June............and there are VERY limited openings!!! It is a rewarding experience. If you don't beleive me, talk to WAFL....she has one of "my kids". thank you SO much. I will let you know if I have to move her to Paulding. I love you!!!

Thank you. As of right now I have 3 potential homes, and a definite in MICHIGAN. I am trying to keep her in Paulding. A girl from Brazil will not do well in Michigan! For those of you who contacted me, I will be in touch ASAP. I am waiting to hear back from HER exchange program.

Once again, I have an exchange student problem. I have a LOVELY girl from Brazil who is currently placed in a great home. Unfortunately, she is having MAJOR problems in Rockdale HS. She hasn't been in school in almost three weeks. She is afraid to go back there. Clara is a wonderful girl. She has spent many weekends at my house. Her host family is devastated to give her up, but they have no choice. Clara can't go back to that school. I am looking for a Paulding Family (any school EXCEPT PCHS) who would be willing to open their heart and home to a beautiful young girl. If I don't find

My entire family is there as well. Just got power back today (I'm from Massapequa....right next door to Bethpage). My brother is NYPD Detective, as are all of our family friends. They ALL have been working non-stop since this happened. My brother has been in Breezy Point stopping the looting. It's freaking COLD! My family and friends are all ok- 2 have lost homes but they all got out safely. Haven't heard from the In-Laws yet. They are all in NJ....and my SIL is just 4 blocks from the beach, so we are pretty sure she no longer has a home.......she evacuated and hasn't been back. It

We LOVE our Leo. He arrives Thanksgiving night! Its the EASIEST way to get my 10 yr old son out of bed every morning. He wants to be the one to find Leo!! lol I know he doesn't believe anymore, but I do.......so we are going to continue to do it!

Ragsdale Inn is FANTASTIC. My brother stayed in the Sleep Inn....no problems. Friends have stayed at Country Inn and Suites, no problems! Try the RAGSDALE~!! I OVED it there!!!!

I know how you feel, LPPPT. when my sister first dies I would get fb notifications to connect with her. How I wish it was that easy. Now fb has changed things, and I don't get those notifications anymore, but I LOVE going back and reading her posts. She was so funny, ad she still makes me laugh today, almost three years later! There is a memorial page for her, but that one makes me sad. Her fb page is quite comical ad it shows the humor she had right u til the end. I get comfort from that....and listening to her vm messages.

That's wonderful to hear. My husband is a former Recon Marine, and my brother, also a Marine, was in Iraq in 2002. Glad your son is hone safely. I remember those days well!!

Anyone? I only have 2 weeks to find a home, do background checks and get the move approved! I don't know what will happen if I can't find her a new family. You do NOT need to be married........you do NOT need to have children. You can be single/married/divorced/grandparents..........it doesn't matter. As long as you have a roofand a bed, and lots of love to give. Believe me, you will get as much from this experience as she will. Please feel free to ask any questions. Please check with your friends. You never know who may decide this is the right thing for their family

Please read through before you dismiss this: Back in the spring I posted that I was looking for a family for a lovely Norwegian exchange student. The family she was placed with was unable to take her. A Pcommer came through, and Terese has been living with them since July. They love her dearly. I have a 2005 Kia Rondo with 90,000 miles on it. Drove the car without oil....needless to say, it needs a new engine. I bought a new car today. My kia (which has NEVER had a problem since I got it), is still sitting at the dealer. What do I do with it? My husband wants to donate it to charity. I am sure it is too expensive to put a new motor in it. Any suggestions? Thanks!
