Alan Rickman, famous for playing villans, dead at 69
juleebella replied to gpatt0n's topic in Paulding County NEWS
Very sad news. -
We were actually able to get home that night, navigating major hills on South Cobb Drive in a '76 Camaro, and saw tons of abandoned cars, then, and the next day. Next day we walked, slid to the nearest convenience store to get that exact same crap food, LOL.

My husband and I were working at Bank South's main office on Marietta St. The bank finally decided to let everyone leave at 4:00, along with every other business in downtown Atlanta. We finally got home at midnight, took 8 hours to go 16 miles.

To grandstand and play modern day cowboy tough guys who plan to use children as human shields?

From the FBI's website you can read the definition of domestic terrorists: https://www.fbi.gov/about-us/investigate/terrorism/terrorism-definitions Even Ted Cruz is asking them to stand down. What kind of jobs do these fine upstanding "patriots" have that they can take control of a federal facility possibly for months and also protect themselves with children who I would think should be back in school. And if these yahoos are homeschooling, if that's what somebody wants to argue, then I feel even sadder for those kids.

She's been found.

Not sure if it's true, but I've read on a few different sites that they've started bringing children in. If that is indeed true, then what a bunch of cowards.

Anyone been to "The Steak House" Recently?
juleebella replied to AustinPlantation's topic in RECENT TOPICS
We went for the first time back in spring or summer this year after years of hearing how amazing it is/was. The setting outside is great, atmosphere inside not so much. Food wise we had to send our steaks back because they were not cooked the way we ordered. They brought us brand new steaks and potatoes, and the steaks were excellent. Rolls seemed to be really cheap grocery store rolls and were cold, and the salad was pretty much out of the bag tasteless stuff. Husband's tea was so weak it wasn't more than discolored water. We gave the one in Cartersville a chance, and enjoyed the food more, b -

I personally love Mary Mac's but unfortunately at some point over years my son decided he's not a fan anymore. Have always wanted to check out The Vortex, but son & DIL have decided to try being vegetarians again, sigh. Thing is, this is supposed to be my birthday outing.

That does look good!
