My DH bought me the Time Life series of all the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame concerts. Holy Goodness! Great Mother's Day gift if you're my age and into that. I am my age and into it. Very well said. My fear re this came from a case in Ohio who passed this same type law without all the exceptions. 11 year old girl who was raped and is now pregnant forced to carry the baby to full term.

Again, bless you! My little old Jackwawwa was not concerned about the weather, but Big Girl (Ivey, pit mix, 80 lbs) let her Mommy (me) know that things were scary and not good. After the storms passed she went back about her normal business.

I really need for all the weather people to employ my big girl dog. She was in her go to safe place in a corner of the kitchen when I was just hearing rumblings far off. Then the weather really went crazy. She stayed there for quite a while, an hour or more? She'd been in that safe spot for at least an hour plus before I got a weather alert on my phone. Dogs are so great and intuitive. Ivey says we're all in the clear now!

We have a jackhuahua mix that was a rescue. Love him to death, but he's the biggest pain in the rear dog ever. We also have a pit mix rescue. One's 16 lbs. and one 80, respectively. Guess which one I'm concerned about biting or being hyper and possibly aggressive.

I've been wondering about this also. Just noticed all the grading within the last week. RaceTrack is going in on the opposite side. Won't be sad to see that rusted, never used metal building gone but would love to know what the plans are for this new project. Probably a strange question to ask and, I should probably call the shelter, but do they also accept clean sox? Point being, my dogs love them as chew toy and to play tug a war. Lord knows I've got plenty. Re the old sheets, sox, etc. All that has got to be washed. What happens then? Serious question

Husband made a bird house last year and this year we have birds nesting in it which is so great But I'm very sad that the swifts are not here this year.

When you could go back to the meat counter and ask for beef bones/dog bones? They used to be free. And even "soup bones" which are basically the same thing are now $2.19 a pound. With no meat on the bones for either. Dogs are happy with what they got and I gleaned anything from what I could. I'm so old.

Good for them and their employees. Must say though, we're guilty when taking advantage of Walmart being open at 6:00 am re medical stuff. Whole other story for another time.....

I miss it too. I miss people on here no matter their political leanings. I miss finding out local news re anything beyond politics. I've been a member on this site for a long time and it's sad to me also.
