Maybe we need to have a King instead of President, or better yet a Queen.... Wonder what would happen then? You can see I am tired of all the election stuff already. Well, for now we can appreciate King Tut, since this is his day. King Tut Day celebrates the date of the discovery of King Tutankhamen's Tomb.Over 3,000 years ago, King Tutankhamen became the King of Egypt at the age of 9. He died at the age of 19. He is commonly called "King Tut". The tomb of Egypt's "child king" was discovered on November 4, 1922. The tomb was discovered nearly intact in Egypt's Valley of Kings.King Tut's ru

I've never been able to draw a clear and concise conclusion on this, maybe you guys can give me a hand; settle my ongoing mental debate of the last several years, right now. What is worse: A stone cold toilet seat at 2:00 a.m., or an overly warm (you know, just this side of body temp) and slightly clammy toilet seat? I mean, one is downright painful and the other is just... ewww. This has stumped me for years, my own personal mystery... (and BAM! segue straight into today's sale topic. I am awesome!) It's Two-for-Tuesday! I offer you, buy 1, get 1 Mystery paperbacks. Oh; and don't

shopthebookworm replied to shopthebookworm's topic in Business NEWS
Poof! I declare a new National holiday for you. It is Copschick wine flavored Chocolate appreciation day! Not sure if this will be supported throughout the land but we do try to please! -
Usually, I'm somewhat antagonistic toward the "every day's a surprise" calendar. But I've decided I'm okay with it today. Know why? ... It's National Chocolates Day. (Score! ) So, come in today and tell me about your favourite way to enjoy a bit of chocolate (unless it's one of those... private pleasures. I don't want to hear about that. ) and I'll give you 15% off your purchase. How's that for a slice of fried gold?! Yours truly, -Britaini

But you, like so many of her fans, probably already knew that. Here's something you may not know; you, unlike many of her fans, have a chance to get a copy of Strangers on Montagu Street and have it signed by the a

Blatherskites, mark this day on your calendar. For today is Babbling Day. This isn't a day to remain silent. Tell everyone you know about this special day. What's all the chatter about over this special day? Well, on Babbling Day, we celebrate those of us with a glib tongue. You know them when you hear them. They're talking gibberish. They never stop talking. They babble on and on. They can turn a simple one sentence statement into an endless dissertation. Spend this day babbling like a baby, if you must. As for me, I will spend it by a babbling brook. BTW: In case you didn't know,
