I have a mutt, likely a lab and pit bull mix. If I have to have a dog, I prefer one like him, or larger.

The one that sticks out in my mind are the $50 Gap jeans, the ones with the dark wash. I practically had an argument with myself on the way there - "But it's almost my birthday (in 2 months)", "But damn, $50 for jeans? What would Clark Howard say?", "But we should get the tax refund soon..."
(I do most of my jean shopping at the consignment shop, so it was a little disturbing. I had to have them, though.)

I'm not sure about bunnies. I hear they are extra sensitive, and don't take kindly to rough handling or boisterous children. Whatever you get, I hope you can teach her the proper way to love and care for it.
I also tend to ignore the dog. I'm just not a dog person, and wouldn't have one if not for my husband. Damn stinky, slobbery thing.

The socks can be for adults? I've got some I can get rid of, and can easily collect lots of water bottles. I'm going to see what else is around.

As someone with an older cat (14), I say what is the difference? They, just like older humans (in some ways), deserve to live the rest of their lives in comfort and security. It breaks my heart to see older animals that may have been with a family all of their lives only to be lost or abandoned that way.
Furthermore, young animals usually have no problem getting adopted. The older ones are mostly looked over, unless someone prefers that.

I know how you feel. When I volunteered at AHS, there was always one or two I bonded with every time. Then while my cat was missing, I went to Cobb and Paulding 2 or 3 times a week each. Heartbreaking.

I hate the new 97.1. I liked Jamz, and don't we have enough of this type of thing between 96, DAVE, and 98.5? Jamz played things like Doug E. Fresh, stuff I'll never hear on 103 or the others.

Only to make gift returns or to get something I can't get locally or online (or if I just don't want to pay shipping). Aveda, for example. I used to have to go to Lenox to get my fancy frou-frou makeup (Bare Minerals), but now they sell it at Ulta. If only they'd put an Ulta closer to me.
