Nope, sodium morphate - usually chosen by the CIA and used in Lemon Merangue(sp?) pies (last meal)... they feel sick abuot 30 minutes after eating... feel like throwing up...go the bathroom and doso in the toilet...flushing away the evidence... small residue stays in as an undetectable amount and causes a heart attack... I've come to realize that my mother, now ready to celebrate her 80th Birthday, has pretty much bought, sold, held, given away, traveled, experienced or just plain didn't want something in her life and almost everything that I could think of giving her fell into one of those catagories......but for the past few years, I've come to also realize that what she really wants...is to remember her younger days. To receive something thst jolts her memory or brings a tear to her eyes of the things we did as a family years ago...or maybe of the friends she hasn't thought of or heard of since high school.

I just called to see if they were actually open Nov 3 and he said 'YEP' I'll take my daughter for the maze and everything else. I'll probably check out their food as well. Hopefully it's reasonably priced (like I know what reasonably priced is...lol).

Wow, thank you all. It was a looong weekend and we got to about 3 things before she passed out (a first)... November is coming and I'll have her for 4/5 weekends.....anything happening during those weekends I'd love to hear what's going on or if you're having any activities (I won't have her Nov 16th weekend)...Not always easy being a single dad trying to make his daughter smile ...while educating her about life... but it's my goal and mission in my life. Just a quick question... I have my daughter (9) this weekend and want to do something different. I suppose we could always go to the mountains for a hike...or to the park, but as she gets older, I know whatever we do is going to be a lasting memory, especially as her friends become more important, or at least a higher priority. I want to start making more lasting, educational, fun and laughing memories....any ideas...? Please keep in mind... time is short as we basically have just a full Saturday to do something, so drive time needs to be short. Any good movies coming out...air sh

Hmm, I kinda like the action-packed movies..... Both of whoch are a little different...one in a military setting and the other..a city setting.... Maybe I'll see Expendables...I like that all of the action guys from so many former movies are in one movie (besides, they're getting old and could probably use a few extra $$ to pay for their court costs - lol) Thanks - Expendables at 3pm....

I went by SVB the other day and found not only the gate still closed, but a sign stating Bank Owned (see attached picture if it was attached correctly)... Very sad.... I still hope that there's plans by someone to buy and open SVB.

Agreed. After all of these years.....I've found that for the most part... lately these teams are winning when they actually keep the momentum and desire to win, alive. True. When I reread it...I thought about changing it, but than figured.....sometimes people are more honest than others. Just because you pull for a favored team...doesn't mean logically they're going to make it....therefore...who you'd LIKE to win, may not really be the one you honestly think will win....so, whether repetitive of not...it's wording allows for a bit of honesty... not to mention..one asks who do you think will win (allowing for a favorite team answer...)...the other asks who do you see.....allowing for maybe an honest answer...

I made it to Hooters for the end of the second half. They had the buy 10 get 10 free wings (of which I brought home enough for lunch tomorrow). I met some pretty interesting people...and watched a pretty one sided game..... It was a good game for New York. Let's see, LSU and Alabama play tomorrow night...should be interesting although I'm not that much into College games.... and I might watch the Saints. I may not like them, but they do have a pretty impressive team this year. It's over for the Falcons... this year. Looks like both Offense and Defense just gave up
