At the time I didn't think I could go on but 27 years later it truly was a blessing, I didn't know how miserable we both were until I had some time and distance. Your input is needed and appreciated by most, sometimes emotions get in the way but I have learned a lot about people and even more about why I believe the way I do. I think it's the ones on the left side if you are standing in front of the restaurant. They don't operate in the winter...........I think the water would be frozen about now. EPM, I've never been on the second floor. What's up there?? Do you know the history of the house, when it was built? Who was the orginal owner?? Was it originally a plantation??

I've been a couple of times. It is a great place and the food is wonderful. Google Blue Willow Inn and you will get a nice history of the place. It is gorgeous in the spring when all the spring flowering plants are in bloom, summer is pretty nice too. They have a big ole front porch with rockers you can just sit in and take in the front grounds. Everyone should try this place at least once.

Thank you IL. I know there are many things we don't agree on but I love the discussion. Like you I get bored with the weather, couponing and who's eating what. I've gotten some good recipes but I can't say those conversations are especially stimulating. This is, after all, just a message board. I tend not to take things personally, I admire the commitment each person makes to their beliefs, candidate and/or political party. Yes, it sometimes gets a little heated but it is just typed words. That's funny, my dad is cooking the jowls and kidney beans, he doesn't like black-eyed peas. We're still having black-eyed peas though.

We grew them for several years, no matter how many times I washed them I still ended up with sand in the bottom of my cooking pot. I guess we have a lot of sand in our soil. I spent $3.00 on enough collard greens to have at least 3 meals. It's fun to grow your own, but I'm passing on the collards, too much work to clean them.

Yep, no sweeping today...........you might sweep someone out of your life and no washing, ditto, you might wash someone out of your life. Sorry NC17, what you do today you'll be doing for the rest of the year. Perhaps your year will be very profitable for you to afford all that shrimp. Collard greens, black-eyed peas, hog jowls and cornbread, a humble meal to keep you humble. Then there's the money thing involved with those peas and greens. Mill Creek has that in another thread. I think that's it for us.

My family doctor is at Wellstar we have Kaiser Insurance, they had not reached an agreement with Kaiser last I heard. Anybody hear anything different??
