I am making chili which we will refrigerate then use the coleman propane stove to warm that up among other things... we'll have that and something else that can be easily warmed up... We'll use ice to keep it cold a day if need be... After that sandwiches and cereal. Cereal would be fine with me the whole time, I love cereal!

Agreed...ETA-There was a good bit of icy patches on the road this morning from runoff, glad it didn't rain! -
I hope it does snow a little so that it gets over this whole "if the snow stays on the ground three days it will snow again" legend... I am so over this cold crap....

When I got mine there were soooooo many with problems with the Eco losing power in high humidity that I didn't feel comfortable getting it back in '11. Plus I just loved the 5.0 growl. I will be getting another I hope in the next year but can't decide if I want to wait for the 15's or not since I am not sure I want to deal with the gremlins of the first year. I have periodically checked online with re sales for good deals and about 90% for sale are Eco, which concerns me even more. Even though the the 15's are using the same drivetrain I am sure the new body will have to be tweaked. I too a -

Ahhhh, that is an idea... Do they make 12 hour timers? The wall it would be on is unfinished on the other side so that would make it easy... My brother was an electrician so I know he could easily do this and make it look like it has always been there... Thanks!ETA-Found the timer at Home Depot, hopefully we can give this a shot this weekend!

Does anyone know of a power strip available out there that has a countdown timer on it? I have found tons out there that can be set to come on every day at a set time for a set period of time. But I am looking for one that I can set it for a pre determined amount of time only on occasion. It is for my kids power wheels bikes.... The garage they are kept in is not in the main areas we use and it would be nice to just show them how to plug it up and set the timer without fear of all of us forgetting about it and leaving it plugged in for days and days. Anyone know of one out there that wil

FYI -- New Mobile Pricing from one of the big boys
its mr sarcastic to you replied to kcarlsonlpn's topic in RECENT TOPICS

I have the family plan with five phones and my bill (total with taxes and all) is $226 a month. (Oh and that is three with 700 minutes/unlimited text, 3GB and two non smart phone). We use the 700 minute plan because all cellular to cellular calls do not count no matter who the carrier is on the other cell. We always roll over about 500 minutes a month. -

But the key is that you only save with this plan if you never change phones. I pay $45 a month for each phone on my 2 year contract and get basically a new free phone every two years. On that plan I would have to pay to get a phone and let's say that averages out to $20 a month for the actual phone cost. Then I am paying my same $45 a month but you would be paying $60 if you amortize out the cost of the phone. The Walmart deal works for a lot, but not if you get new phones regularly.... -

Garbage Company Decides to Wait for Next Week

My point totally sailed right over your head.... IF they are going to charge me, then share that income with the employees versus making them take their vacation or not get paid at all.... Not too many cans out here look like they are overflowing so I don't think the stress will be too bad for them. One of their biggest expenses is fuel and they got a huge break this week... -

I certainly hope that any company who did not pick up is going to credit my bill without my having to ask, or preferably, pay their employees for those missed days since I am paying them.... It would be bad business on their part not to do one or the other.... -
I am grateful I haven't received any... nothing good ever is waiting for me in that box...

I was wondering if that meant they had been checked, there were cars everywhere this morning with that tied to their mirror. Great system! And NC... You could tell the guy was running like crazy, I handed him a nice tip after he unloaded my truck and told him to grab a warm meal or a big as bottle of liquor after he got home, whichever he preferred! LOL I really appreciate guys like him and yours that risk their life helping us out and that is exactly what they do! -
Had enough of the moaners and groaners so hopefully this will change the tide.... The night of the storm I spent almost 8 hours trying to get home from East Cobb which is about 23 miles... I had almost made it and landed in a ditch less than one mile from home... The next day they pulled my truck out of a precarious position with no damage and safely delivered it home. They charged a very reasonable rate and were fast at getting it to me. I have heard horror stories of what others are being charge so I just wanted to say, Moore's Towing rocks. I HIGHLY recommend them!
