My husband has finally gotten as far as Kroger near Burnt Hickory / Whitlock area. He had to stop for gas at Kroger. 3 1/2 hours so far and still not quite halfway home.

One poor bus driver has reported unruly kids on the bus and needs assistance asap. Didn't hear which one. Too many school buses stuck, I did hear Allgood hasn't been picked up yet.

My husband left work at 12:10 and hasn't gotten to Marietta Square yet. (Normally takes about 10 minutes to the square) Dead stopped traffic and wrecks, cars spun out eastbound. Wrecks and ice everywhere.

Back deck is white off Hiram Sudie and snowing pretty good.. Crazy dog alert, chasing and biting at snowflakes. He just isn't smart enough to look before he leaps so I'm afraid he will run into the fence, he's watcthing it from a window now, safely inside. Goofball.

Shoot, me too. I could be dangerous with that much space back to use again.

We watched Captain Phillips with Tom Hanks last night On Demand and loved it. Great movie.

Ingles. I really hate the wording in some of these advertisements. I did speak with the manager when I got back home and she completely agrees that it feels like a bit of intentional misleading. She said she hopes customers will call Corp. so this type advertising does not continue. I do get the math but it just felt very misleading to say "2 free".

I read some people were having issues the other day and don't know if it matters but I use the light blue right page and haven't had any problems. Maybe try that and see if it works. ??

I just wanted to say they came when they said they would, the guys were great and the price was exactly as quoted. Debbie in their office was so very nice and helpful. It is very refreshing to have such a wonderful overall experience with a company these days. I give this experience 2 thumbs up. :good:

My husband called on the way home from work and I told him about the Gyro post. He stopped by Aldi and bought a box for me, the name brand is Bremer. He also picked up two dips - Buffalo Chicken dip and Spinach with Artichoke dip. My husband is the and Surepip is pretty cool too for posting about the Gyros.

Thanks for sharing that, I will give it a try. I love Gyros but Atlanta is too far to drive for a really good one.

1:52 - They are starting to move now. Lifeflight was still at the church at Cochran Ridge with ambulance, police etc. there also, he just passed it.

1:41 - He sees two Fire Rescue and a Fire truck leaving, there is a second Lifeflight landing and a 5th ambulance coming by them to the scene. _______________________________________ 5th ambulance is now leaving. (1:50) The second car is smaller and looks silver. He said it looks like a head on since both front ends were pretty torn up.

If you pray it would be a good time to say a prayer for these people. Hopefully they are not too seriously injured. Thanks

1:29 - A fourth ambulance is coming by him now going to the scene. He doesn't hear Life Flight anymore so he thinks they took off. He saw a long car, possibly a ??? (It looked Burgundy) being put on a wrecker. The front end was pretty smashed up. Edited : He said it definatly wasn't a Lincoln, it wasn't that big. When it passed he could see it was a smaller car.

1:20 - There were 3 ambulances. One ambulance left a few minutes ago, one just left and one is being loaded now. He still hears Life Flight on the ground somewhere down there.

My husband is sitting still in traffic on Hiram Sudie. A lady was going car to car saying there were 3 young ladies on the ground due to a really bad wreck and people should turn around because it was going to take awhile. Life Flight is landing somewhere now,(1:15) he saw and hears it but because of the trees he can't see anything. We have no idea what type vehicles or what happened but it wouldn't be a good time to go down Hiram Sudie.
