I bought a small book there also, it is Miltons Minor Poems. The copyright is 1894 and 1911 by American Book Company. I bought it because the outside cover is cloth and I thought it was very cool. With old things I like to hold them and wonder about all the people that touched them, what their lives were like, where they lived, etc. (Then my A.D.D kicks in and I go put it up and wash my hands. lol )

I do not follow a particular denomination because I feel the most important thing is a close intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. I listen to Charles Stanley, Joyce Meyer, Joseph Prince and a few others because their teachings are on the same page but their delivery is different. As a child my Mother took me to a "Church of God" church, but even as a child there were things that just didn't seem quite right to me. Over 30 years ago I went to an Estate sale and bought a womans dry face powder compact with the Eiffel Tower on it and it was one of the first ones that you could move it and see different pictures. The story was the lady I bought it from was the housekeeper for a couple, that never had children or other family members left, she had worked for them for over 40 years and when they passed away she was given everything in the home. I think it also has something to do with in the 60's and 70's parents still "spanked" kids (not beat kids) when they needed it so they learned discipline, respect and self control. jmo

My niece took 6 pairs of jeans to Pat to be "blue jean" hemmed and a couple of the jeans legs to be made straight legged. (They started out bell bottomed) She has said so many great things about the perfection and professionalism in Pats work and what a wonderful lady she is that I thought since I referred her to Pat from reading such good reviews on Pcom that I would let Pat know publicly how pleased she is with the work she did for her. Had he not been doing something wrong in the first place this whole chain of events would not have happened, so in my opinion he put this into motion himself.. I do not agree that anyone should need to be shot so many times if they are unarmed but I was not there, I was not the officer that pulled the trigger. I think the looting and violence the "protesters" are doing there is putting them in the same situation and they alone are responsible for the outcome of their safety. They are committing crimes and they well know it. Their actions do nothing for the family and it does nothing

I found an infant sitting alone (in a stroller) in the produce isle at Kroger yesterday, nobody around. The produce guy went to get a manager while I stood by the stroller. (Luckily the baby was sleeping) It was a good 4-5 minutes before we saw a guy running through the store toward us, he chuckled and said "I'm new at this". I said "Please don't do this in your car next time" and he said his wife just walked off and he didn't realize she didn't have the stroller. I so hope these new parents got a really good scare out of that and they both make a point of knowing where the baby is

What a beautiful display of the love and respect your family has for your Father and the love he wants to share with all of you until the Lord calls him home.
