    Well, now, Paulding County ain't the ONLY county in GA to have an animal shelter and I'm not hearing about RAT INFESTATIONS in other counties..and lots of other counties have Buildings a lot older then the one we have here so they should have more of a problem then WE have...now I'm not a rocket scientist but don't need to be to see that SOMETHING wasn't being handled right here that got us into this mess....I'm just sayin...

    We are out of Ft.Pierce for our main office. My brother in law is a Paulding Deputy and has asked us to come help after spending 20 hours in waist deep water. He called and asked us to come help the people of the county. We have a business Licence for Paulding and Insurance to cover our customers. We are here to help as long as we need to be here. We have an interest in this area due to family being here and having a family member that serves this county.

     

    I did not mean to sound suspicous but in situations such as these one has to be careful about out of state people showing up, so thank you so much for clearing up your presence here and in helping; I'm sure you will receive a lot of business due to being legitimate. Also give my thanks to your BIL for his service out there; I have family working the Cobb departments so I totally understand what he went through out there.

    Oh that is so funny! And yeah, I'm with you, I say just bring it on so I can get it over with, oh but wait, then I'll have immunity to it so I'll be the nanny when all the schools and daycares close. :o Oh never mind, I'm not in the healty, young category that they say this is hitting, ah, for once there is a silver lining to being fat, out of shape, and old! :D

    I know it's flu season, you don't have to remind me of that, but other then the flu is anyone aware of some other sort of stomach virus going around these parts that is causing extreme vomiting, and how many days is it lasting? Maybe tomorrow will be the day things improve, but I thought this might be a good place to find out what's really going around out there. Anyone?

    That fights been going on a long time now. Cobb had a long and bitter fight about it just a few years back, everyone up and down Dallas Hwy had signs on their property opposing the poles and the eminent domain, but it didn't matter, they were put up anyhow. Here's an article that goes way back to 2003 that I dug up, it's in a Florida paper but it's an article about Marietta Georgia:

    I also hear that Colonial is next with pulling eminent domain to put in their new pipeline, coming through Cobb and Paulding too.

     

    It never ceases to amaze me, what good is it to 'own' a house if they can come and do this so easily. Sigh.

    I just did a few tomatoes, peppers, and herbs. All the garden blogs I browse said not to plant yet as another cold snap is expected before April 12. I took my chances, if another one comes I'll cover what I've got and I didn't invest that much money so I can always do it over if I have to, of course I'm hoping that I won't have to as then the cost would outweigh any benefit, heck, even with the little I did spend, the cost may already outweigh the benefit but it's so much fun to play in the dirt!

    This may be a long shot but: I just got done reading a long topic in the INTERNET CAFE titled "How do I contact her", and in it PC SHOPPER mentions that JENNIFER's PET RESCUE turned away a purbread yorkie yesterday - same day as your post. SO -anything's possible: it may be the one you are looking for, or your neighbor is looking for. It may be worth it to get in touch with JPR and see if she has the name and contact info of the person that was trying to turn the yorkie in to her rescue group.

    Oh, I thought you knew that and was just joking. YEP..........shows ya "anybody" can get a contract. Doesn't have a lot to do with talent sometimes.

     

     

    Yes, I was joking when I said they pulled someone from the camping lot, I knew he was a singer, just didn't know exactly what it was he sang..and now I know what he 'shouldn't' sing. ;)

    You sure it's CP? It sounds more like shingles, which is caused by same virus as CP so it often looks the same, but shingles come back - and your skin hurts with it - you might want to get a recheck or a second opinion.
