wow - great menus!
we are having ..... a fully loaded shrimp salad (lettuce, mushrooms, hardboiled egg, onions, shrimp, avacado (sp?), tomatoes, etc) and some garlic/cheesy bread (homemade) .... and FUDGE for dessert!
hope hubby understands the $55 donation to PHS now. thanks again.

getchu some of that laughing cow light swiss cheese spread too. i use it in place of mayo on my sammiches/wraps. it's also good smushed inside celery.

I'm a grazer.
I like to get a big gladware container and cut up carrots, radishes and celery to keep handy. That way if I eat the whole dang thing I'm not doing much harm

and i'm with jonesy about the gardenburgers... those or the boca brand spicy black bean burgers are yum.
be warned however, they make you do some purdy wicked toots, right b? or is that just me?

for a snack/dessert take freshfruit salad. i cut up watermelon, cantelope, strawberries and throw in some grapes. kroger has some good produce in right now.
get you some of those wholewheat tortilla's too "tam-x-ico" and fill it with whatever. i nuke a gardenburger and break it up, sprinkle 2% cheese and add lettuce with some lite italian dressing. tis pretty good, and i hate healthy food.

sometimes that donut place is out of donuts a couple of hours before they lock the doors and turn off the lights. oh how i wish fer a krispy kreme.

for the motel, i ended up becoming a member of AAA and got a most excellent discount on the room. (not onsite disney, but purdy close with free shuttle)
AAA actually has a lot of sweet deals, i saved 10% at jiffy lube the other day for flashing it.

RAKled just got off the phone with jaime.
jaime wants everyone to know that they are doing ok. the meds are messing with rambo's system and as soon as he stabilizes they will operate. the vet has now quoted a price of $2600 and a 10 week healing period.

i just talked to jaime and they (jaime & her husband) are at cobb emergency clinic now. they are waiting to talk to the doctor. when i get more info i will let y'all know.
