  1. Big Cat...you so need to call me....I didn't even know this....how have we lost touch. I am so happy that you are moving here and Chad will be absolutely THRILLED. He has been wanting to call you about playing basketball, and about starting a bowling team. Anyway, just call or email me soon.....we have got to catch back up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. NewHope...I jumped ahead and read R is for Richocet...it was pretty good. Also Crittyl, I would love to exchange books, but all the books I have read this summer I checked out from the library...lots cheaper :-)

I don't know what area of the county you are in, but I know New Ga. Library has the Patterson and Sparks' books I mentioned. I have "The Five People"...I am telling you all, you have GOT TO READ THIS BOOK...it really is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. I have a very close friend that has family in Pearl River County. She has not been able to get in touch with anyone since early yesterday morning. Please remember all the hurrican victims in your prayers!

  4. I just read James Patterson's "Sam's Letters to Jennifer" a week to two ago. It was fabulous.

I would also recommend "The Guardian" by Nicholas Sparks. And my number #1 all time recommendation is "The Five People You Meet in Heaven" by Mitch Albom....totally AWESOME!!! Number 2 on my list is a classic "To Kill a Mockingbird" an oldie, but most definitely a goodie :-)

  5. ...where at least I know I'm free. And I won't forget the men who died that gave that right to me....

I don't know if these are the right words, but there close. Anyway, these words are never been truer to me than today. Thank you, Josh Dingler, for the sacrifice you have made for me and my family. God Bless our brave military men and women.

God be with the family and friends of those that have made these great sacrifices.

  6. Let's not make this thread about policy or the administration. Let's keep it at supporting and honoring our troops. We can all be proud Americans without making it into a polical discussion.

  7. I did have one on my front porch, but it suffered storm damage last year during one of the hurricanes that came through. I am definitely going to replace it this week. Thanks for pointing that out.

Let's ad that to this post.... we need to start flying those flags again. Seeing the flag draped casket today really got to me. I was so sad for Josh's family, and so proud to be an American. Like I have said, regardless of your feelings toward the war or policy, we all should be proud and should offer 110% support of our brave troops. Let's all display our colors with pride for those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms and liberty.

God be with tand comfort the Dingler family and friends

  8. ALL PAULDING COUNTY CITIZENS

PLEASE ATTACH A SMALL AMERICAN FLAG TO YOUR CAR ANTENNA TO SHOW YOUR RESPECT AND SUPPORT OF JOSH DINGLER AND HIS FAMILY. IF YOU CANNOT FIND A SMALL FLAG, PLEASE TIE RED/WHITE AND BLUE RIBBONS FROM YOUR ANTENNA. PLEASE FLY THE FLAG AND OR RIBBONS THROUGH LABOR DAY WEEKEND.

PLEASE PUT ASIDE YOUR PERSONAL FEELING REGARDING THE WAR, AND DO THIS IN HONOR OF OUR BRAVE SOLDIERS AND THEIR FAMILIES.
