  1. REALLY....how interesting.............

    Not really.

Here is what I am doing. I am having everyone I know call and check the status of my refund check. I know they are not going to tell anyone other than me, this is just an attempt to drive them crazy until they do talk to me.

Everytime I call, all they will do is put me on hold when I give them my name--I think I have been flagged.

So if you want to participate, just call 770/888-8088 or 1/800-333-5494 and hit option 3

This company owes me $156---but now it is a battle of principle

    Please help me.

  2. Back in 1996, I worked for Kiwi Carpet Cleaning.  I was a telemarketer.  I know they had alot of problems with customers back then too!  When I was moved up to Assistant Manager, there were always people calling with soem kind of complaint.  Sorry to hear you had a problem...I hate that for you, especially at this time of year!!!

  5. The Nutcracker will be performed for the public on Saturday Dec 10 at 3 and 7.  Tickets will be available at the door.  These kids have been working hard since Octboer 1 to bring this production of the Nutcracker to Paulding County.  Come out and see what the people of Paulding County can do. It is a great show.

    Where??

  6. Just wanted to tell everyone to try to make it out to the Theatre on the Square in Marietta to see "Sander's Family Christmas"...it is so hilarious!!!

Also, for you folks involved in local theatre...can you tell me if you have considered doing "Smoke on the Mountain"? I have not seen it personally, but I have heard it is also very hilarious. I would love it, if the local group decided to do "A Sander's Family Christmas" next year---just a sugesstion :-)

  7. Thank you for this wonderful post. I actually have chills from reading it....I really needed to see this passage and take it's message to heart. In the last few days, I have really "been Martha", and the weight and anxiety of all these burdens I am placing on myself have made me heavy-hearted. Your message and the scripture you quoted really made me re-evaluate how I have been behaving, and what I have been neglecting.

Isn't it amazing how God uses us, and the circumstances in our lives to lead us back to Him. When you posted this thread, I am quite possible you did not have me in mind, but God did. God used your hands to touch my hears and heart. Bless you for your post. I hope others will read and cherish this scripture and lesson.

Will you always meet at 4? If ya'll ever have a late meeting, like 6-7, Chandler and I may venture out :)

  9. Hmm, can't say he's really done anything for me.

I'm not too prone to talk to him.

    But good for you!

You are alive, aren't you? As long as you are still breathing and your heart is still beating, then God IS doing something for you.

Not to mention that whole John 3:16 thing....do you know someone else that will give their child's life so that you may have life?

  10. I just got a recipe for pumpkin dip. You can spread it on graham crackers for an easy-kid friendly treat. Also, with all the sugar and cream cheese, you don't really taste the pumpkin.

    1 cup canned pumpkin

2 - 8 oz. blocks of cream cheese (softened)

    4 cups powdered sugar

    4 tsp. pumpkin pie spice

Mix all ingredients and serve with graham crackers. It's delicious! (Even if you don't like pumpkin)

  11. yummy, yummy, there are definitely some recipes on this page that I want to try this year.

Our "easy-to-do" family classic is corn casserole. It is idiot proof, which works for me :-)

Corn Casserole (small dish--double for large

2 cans of yellow sweet corn (drain)

1 cans of cream of mushroom soup (if you like it really, really creamy add a second can)

2 bags of boiled white rice

mix all ingredients together and add to casserole dish

cover with blend of shredded mozzarela (sp) and cheddar cheeses

bake at 350 until cheeses are completely melted

  12. Erin, I am glad that you posted this. Chad and I actually had a very close friend whose niece fell out of a window four years ago and died. She was only 2 years old. Accidents can happen so quickly. Thank you and Busymom for taking a few minutes to remind us of the hazards in our homes.
