I can't find confirmation either except TMZ reports 2010. I can tell you this. When you are trying to walk and your hip is bone on bone, you take pain pills or you just don't walk. I just didn't walk any more than I had to. I can say that the relief from the ever present hip pain after surgery was a miracle. Even though there was some pain from the surgery, it was nothing compared to bone on bone pain and I could walk again! I had AVN in my right hip, which meant the bone had died and crumbled.
