  1. Ok. Again, what will be accomplished with our missile action?
  2. Miss you girl, but it looks like life is good for you down south. I wish your parents well, especially your daddy.
  3. Ok. How much borrowed money is it going to cost to fire those missiles? More importantly what is it going to solve? My missile is bigger than yours?
  4. Just like when we waited for how long? for the UN to inspect Iraq and give them enough time to move their WMD's to Syria? I mean really, the whole world was watching and knew what was going on........
  5. Whatever.......... I'm aware of that, and if anything he's probably more dangerous than Ahmadinejad. He's very well educated and very close to the Ayatollah. He even went as far as wishing the Jews a blessed Rosh Hashanah. "Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, speaking at his weekly cabinet meeting, said the president of Iran may have changed, "but the goal of the regime has not been replaced." They could take him out while they're at it, along with the Ayatollah. SOURCE
  6. We need to stay out of it! Syria has the backing of Iran and both have the backing of Russia. Us. Russia. No. What a big pissing contest!!!!!! With our soldiers lives. No boots on the ground? BS! If anything, I agree with what others have said, assassinate Assad, and get Ahmadinejad while they're at it.
  7. When I worked in midtown, Baton Bob would come out occasionally and perform just for the heck of it. It was always fun to watch him. This is how I've seen him......... And this was him yesterday on Judge Joe Brown
  8. re I was just going by the ads I read, I never had to check into it fully. They do provide meals, housekeeping and laundry. I was considering it if my mother ever needed closer monitoring and couldn't drive..
  9. momof 3, I forgot to mention. At Amberly and maybe at the others, they also have storage units you can rent by the month. I got my mother one, it was in the corner and these things are huge. Much larger than what you would pay $50 a month at a normal storage facility. And that way, anything we had stored when we moved her from Alabama, she could drive to any time and get whatever she wanted.
  10. IKR? Next to the last paragraph: China's "national condition" has already seemingly had a harmful effect on its poultry – and on U.S. consumers unlucky enough to have bought it for their pets. (The U.S. allows chicken imports for animal consumption.) As of December 2012, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration reported that it had received reports of 501 dog deaths (and thousands of dog sicknesses), many seemingly from chicken jerky treats manufactured in China, dating back to 2007. But the department has so far been unable to pinpoint a cause for the problem, and the Chinese have
  11. Don't Trust a Chicken Nugget That's Visited China By Adam Minter | Bloomberg – Tue, Sep 3, 2013 12:03 PM EDT Would you willingly eat a chicken nuggets processed in a country that has no intention of meeting U.S. food-safety standards? Most Americans likely wouldn't. That may explain why the U.S. Department of Agriculture waited until Friday -- the day before a long holiday weekend -- to announce that it had ended a ban on Chinese chicken imports by approving four Chinese poultry processors to ship processed ("heat-treated/cooked") chicken to the U.S. The report on the approv
  12. Exactly NJ. Don't ever confuse my kindness for weakness. And I'm loyal to a fault, but when push come to shove too many times, I'm done. Don't make me go there
  13. I know y'all can't stand Fantasia but when I heard her sing this on the show, I knew she would win. I voted for Fantasia http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DeRBpwi6BT8
  14. Greenbrooke is owned by the same company. They have the same amenities except the apartments have 9' ceilings, same floor space and plans and a little more eclectic and more expensive. About $200-300 more a month. AND all you hear is traffic and sirens. I thought Amberly was very nice, especially for the price.
  15. Just to add, because my mother did live in Amberly and she was totally mobile up until the day she went into the hospital, including driving to the grocery store, my plan was to use Creekside Assisted Living if it should have come to that. Thankfully it didn't.
  16. Did you check the prices? Still too rich for my blood. MONTHLY FEE Winwood Studio $1,885.00 - $2,000.00 One Bedroom $2,235.00 - $2,685.00 Two Bedroom $2,945.00 - $3,060.00 The Teem Residence Monthly Fee One Bedroom Apartments $2,740.00 - $3,190.00 Two Bedroom Apartments $3,410.00 - $3,870.00
  17. I'm still waiting for the one at the high school. They put up a couple of metal post a couple of weeks ago and haven't been back.
  18. On Macland, between hwy 120 and McDonalds. They advertise on here. You can see the rooms on their website. And you can have an animal if she has any. Plus each unit has a carport. They are very nice and she liked it there. She had her own section of the yard for flowers and such.
  19. I moved my mother over here to Amberly Senior apartments. Two bedrooms, full kitchen, living room , pantry, linen closet in the bathroom and laundry room. At the time it was around $750 a month, water included. It's a very nice community.
  20. I think you're missing the point Eddie. Read it again. Or better yet, start fresh in the morning. Have a good night.
  21. Oh my. I love "Summertime" and the living is easy. I guess I was in a more rock 'n roll mood since I rocked and rolled for my birthday today
