My daughter and I are "enmeshed". It's what mothers and daughters do. Not because of any abuse, it's just a closer relationship. And she probably reflects some of my "fleas" but I like to think they're good "fleas". And I will go so far as to say, If I were in that situation having to deal with whom I consider the bully, Bill Hudson, I would have moved away too in order to keep my children from having to hear him whine about how he was done wrong. Good grief. -
I've always taken my shoes off when I walk in because I love being barefoot, but I'm also aware of what might be on the bottom of my shoes, so everyone else takes their shoes off too. OMG......this is what's so annoying about you. You think you know everything about abuse and the only one who has ever suffered from it. I understand you have a cause, even though I don't fully understand it, especially since your own children are grown. I'm a little south of you at 61 and Paul Aiken and it was a wind storm with a downpour at least for 30 minutes. We needed it, cause it's been missing us all week.

I just listened to the news, supposed to break around 10AM, be back around noon south of here and then back again tonight. The Peachtree Road Race in the morning will be wet and cool, so that's a good thing. And it will probably be wet for the fireworks tomorrow night. It won't be the first time, I remember many times getting caught in the rain in Marietta, Lenox, etc. Stay safe today!

But I'm not complaining, we need the rain. Our lake is about a foot low, so we can use it, so can the trees and the grass. I just didn't expect it. And it's thundering and dark here. Maybe it'll rain for a good while and soak up in the ground. Wow, I just got a big shot of lightening! I just heard my breaker flip in the bathroom and the wind is blowing like crazy. It's dark and I'm wondering, what in the world am I doing up. I should still be in bed sleeping through this................

Seems like I remember WLS as well. And after reading the format of each, WLS was more hip so that may have been what we listened to on those long summer nights. I also used to listed to WAOK AM in Atlanta which eventually became V103 FM. It wasn't until around '67 or '68 before we had an FM station and I think it was WFOM in Marietta. And then around 1970 it seemed the market was flooded with FM stations in Atlanta.

Oh girl, I have 2 oldie R&B stations on my seriusxm, and they played 60's all afternoon. That's when I was in high school and had boy crushes and starting dating. I can remember summer nights sitting in the car with the windows down listening to the radio. We didn't have FM back then and at night all you could pick up was WGN out of Chicago. Those were the days!! LOL

Tea roses need a lot of care. Pruning, dead-heading and they get fungus all the time. They like it relatively dry. Overwater or water in the evening, you're going to have fungus. At least that was my experience. We have "knockouts" now. And all I do is trim them. And they bloom well into the fall. But tea roses are beautiful and smell wonderful. If you only have one it should be easy to handle. I had nearly a dozen at my other house. I only brought four with me.

Oh wow! have a GREAT time!!!! I am way past my beach fix, hopefully right before school starts. We're going to Marietta Saturday and see what's going on. Happy Fourth!!

He sounds like a bitter man, and it sounds like he's throwing who ever he can under the bus. I do remember he had a huge ego. I don't remember any talk of drugs, but they both probably did, it was the 70's.

I talked to Melissa earlier today and Thad had a good birthday and even smiled a few times. She spent the night at home last night and just crashed. I know she's so tired and she's spending the day at home today. But here's the deal: He's still on antibiotics for the infection. They're waiting to clear up the infection and then on Monday they will be doing surgery again. The same spot, same incision just to go in there and clean up some areas. So that's where we are now.

He joined her in partying and getting high. Self-righteous? She went through a few men, he went through a few women. That makes her a floozy but not him? She's been with Kurt 32 years now. This is old news and Bill Hudson is a jerk. I never did like him or his show. So that's all I'm going to say about this. I still think you picked the wrong person as an example.......Bill still sees himself as a victim after all these decades. He's got issues. As far as my grandson, that's in the future and I hope it doesn't happen to him. He's been through one crazy girl. The on
