I am trying to get an understanding of the whole thing before I approach them.

Okay, so I know about getting my roof replaced due to hail/storm damage, and it would be covered by the insurance company, but can anyone tell me if the same applies to exterior window shutters on my home? Can I make a claim to have shutters replaced (as long as there is bona fide damage or need for replacement)? If a claim is approved, will it thereafter affect my premiums? Also, am I entitled to a discount on my homeowner's policy if shutters are installed on my home? Finally, can anyone recommend a good, honest local shutter contractor?
