Google it and you will find local news stories from legitimate sources where Walmart stores have closed the last couple of days for "plumbing issues."

I just googled "Walmart stores closing in the south for several months" and received a listing of quite a few newspaper online articles about Walmart stores in their area closing for several months for "plumbing" issues. Very odd.

That's not a taser in the officers hands Eddie. That's his handgun. Watch the video again and you will only see a handgun in his hands. The pictures with the wire were taken from the video.

What riots have been occurring say in the last two months Eddie? Hell, let's go back further than that. How many riots have occurred in this country in the past 12 months?

In your mind, no cop ever tells the truth, does the right thing, and only wants to beat the sheeze out of people or kill them.
-
Before the guy started videoing with his phone, the officer had caught up with Walter Scott. There was a tussle and Scott grabbed the officers taser and fired it at him. He then dropped the taser and began to run. After shooting Scott, the officer picked up his taser from the ground and then dropped it by Scott.

Like what?
-
No he didn't. He never said anyone who runs away or is disrespectful to a cop deserves to get beat up or shot.

Look at the video I posted and turn the sound up. As the two backup officers arrived, an officer that was already there says they need to separate them and talk to them. One of the perps says no they will not be separated and moves in on an officer. Then one of the perps punches an officer and another perp goes for an officer. The physical confrontation was not started by the police, but by the nut cases.

The video I posted was from a patrol car.
-
Look at the video again. They were not the first police officers there. The fighting had actually started before the second two arrived.

Here's a news story about it.

Your opinion on those two cops being guilty before an investigation was even completed demonstrated you didn't care to consider their constitutional rights. You had already declared them guilty of murder.
-
You considered none of this for the police officer in Ferguson, nor the police officer who shot the naked man in Decatur. Instead you immediately pronounced both officers of being guilty of murder. You didn't give a sheeze about the officers rights to due process.

I thought it interesting as well.

What we know is crime is much higher in low income areas than other areas. The problem to solve is how to reduce crime in those areas.

Pubby I found this article that may help explain why there appears to be a higher rate of news reports on blacks committing crimes in NYC than any other race. During 2013, victim's of the city's murder and manslaughter victims were: Black 63.8%; Hispanic 23.7%; White 8.6%; and Asian 3.9%. Of the 222 people arrested for shootings: Black 70%; Hispanic 25.4%; White 2.9%, and Asian 1.6%. Now these figures may seem disproportionately high for some of you as NYC is a big city, but the vast majority of crime there is committed in the low income areas where the population is mostly Black o

I agree with you. In the same token though, there are bad educators who shouldn't be teaching; bad doctors who shouldn't be practicing medicine; bad politicians who shouldn't be in elected office; and the list goes on and on.

I'm not saying the end justifies the means at all. Justice does take its course and we need to allow it to work. However, you on the other hand seem to think every time a police officer shoots and kills somebody, it's always murder. When others have suggested it's best to wait until the investigation is concluded before making judgement; you make the comment the investigation is going to be rigged to protect the police officer. Your posts and ramblings every time there is a shooting involving a police officer suggest to me and others that you would most likely prefer police officers be

What CC is saying is, the police should be unarmed. What he's not telling you is the number of times deadly force was used to save the lives of others to include police officers far outnumbers his perception.
-
Yes, he does; but will he get it is the question? All it takes is one juror to hold out on voting in favor of the death penalty for him to end up with life imprisonment. I would be surprised to see him get the death penalty from a jury made up of people in Massachusetts.

You are correct. Moderation on this site has been brought up quite a few different times in the past with people posting their opinions, only to be shut down by the mods or pubby. So really what good is discussing it?

Most people are using Facebook more now than discussion boards. What's that tell you?
