Pubby-Paulding County is made up of some very bizarre people. They are so hell bent on believing the worst in people, that everyone is corrupt or that their elected oofficials are on the take. I have no dog in this hunt but I will say this. To run a county and make decisions for which you are held accountable shows a hell of alot more vision and leadership then wetting your finger and raising it in the air to see whatever political wind the Republican party is blowing at the moment.

No kidding. You want to dismiss us as being part of Metro Atlanta because we are not considered that for TSPLOST? Wake up man!! 65% of the working people in this county travel to either Cobb, Douglas or Fulton Counties each day to work. We most certainly are part of the metro area and what happens there directly impacts the lives of every Paulding resident that works in thos e counties.

We most certainly are in Metro Atlanta by every measure. Paulding County is only 15 miles from the City of Atlanta.

It doesn't apply to gasoline but most of the sales at those stations such as food, drinks, etc. I don't know about the other items you mentioned and therein lies one of the major problems with the TSPLOST-the inability to find clear information on just what is covered and not. In my opinion this will be a primary reason it will be rejected.

My understanding is that they are from the Northwest Regional Commission. I hope to have something soon. Also, Paulding ranks 4th in the region in terms of projected sales tax revenue even though we have the most people. Other areas have more hotels, outlet centers and interstate gas stations that put them ahead of us.
