Well I have close to 30 people coming over, so I wanted a variety of food!!

Also his Junior year start taking him to show cases, even if he doesnt make the high school team ever. He can still be seen!! My son has gotten alot of recognition from going to show cases and camps. And we even had a couple of umpires saw him play and have been putting his name out there. Good luck to him, baseball is very competitive and like you said it is also political, that's why you have to work extra hard for your kid!!

Im so sorry your son didnt make the team. But tell him to keep working hard. I know you mentioned travel ball was too expensive, but have you thought about getting him some private lessons, if he's an in fielder maybe some in fielding lessons, or if he struggled batting, some batting lessons, or maybe some strength and agility. The only reason I say this is because unless you just want to give him something to do. Rec ball is not going to prepare him. He is not going to see the same type of pitches, fielding. I have my menu together for the superbowl party but feel like I need another side item. This is what I have so far. Lemon Pepper wings, Buffalo Wings, Barbque meatballs, pigs in a blanket, nachos(plain and with ground beef), Pasta salad, Pizza, Veggie tray and Fruit tray. A superbowl cake. I feel like Im meat overloaded and need another side dish. What could I add to it? Thanks!!

Well maybe not rigged. But I always think things can always be twerked to go a certain teams way. I really thought things would be twerked to go the Falcons way against the 49ers. Wasnt there a case in the NBA where a ref was throwing games, can't remember all the details. I think the same thing about the Saints after Katrina. Everybody wanted something good to happen in New Orleans and along come the Saints to save the day!! There are always those games that makes me go, REALLY?????!!!!!!

This is exactly why I am shocked the Falcons didnt win against the 49ers. I've always thought professional sports were riggeed. I kept saying all week, they are going to let the Falcons win, so that they can build that new Stadium. With a win and playing in the Super Bowl the fans wouldnt put up a big stink about having to help pay for it. But I guess there was only so much the 49ers could do.

Nope, none of those. Im on Diovan, atenolol for blood pressure and valium for vertigo.

I also have vertigo, I am taking Valium(go figure) for vertigo, and it really helps with the dizziness!! I ran out for about a week and the dizziness came back!! I had a bad reaction to some blood pressure medication several months ago, that made me sick for months, it took months for it to get out of my system, the worse months of my lifel I am praying this topamax does not make me sick, I can not go through that hell again. I have only been on it a little over a month. So I am praying I don't get anymore side effects. That BP medication almost gave me a nervous break down!!

Oh Wow, these drugs are something serious!! My baby having days are over, but still this still has to be some powerful stuff. I researched this medicine before I started taking it and it took me a couple of days to actually start taking it because I was scared to death. I just pray that it will not cause any serious harm and will help these migraines!!

Oh yeahhh somebody that actually takes it!!!! So you didnt have the memory loss, word confusion, hallucinations hair loss/thinning, kidney stones, and other horror stories I have read about. I am only on 25 mg, and he will increase to 50 mg in another month. So I am hoping I want have any of the other bad side effects. I really didnt think I would have the loss in appetite the doctor said I would have, but sure enough after about the 3rd 4th day, I had no desire to eat. Oh hell, i've been on it a month, so im hoping I am having all the side effects im going to have and that is the weird taste in food, and weight loss. That is the only problems im having. Im on the lowest dosage also. If anything gets really weird im going to ask to be taken off of it, but for now since it's just the weight loss, im going to stay the course!!

I have tried 6 different migraine medications and nothing works. At my last appointment he said let's try something in preventing the migraines. At this point I am just desperate for some relief. But at 130 now, another 25 is not an option. Im hoping this is a side effect that will wear off. I just know "some" people do a lot of crazy things to lose weight and if they knew this medication was making people lose weight, im sure they would be begging their doctors to put them on it. I do miss the taste of food, but like I said at this point, im desperate!!

I am 5'10 and now weigh 130 lbs. My goal in taking this medication was never to lose weight, it just happened to be one of the side effects. Even at 155, I was happy with my weight, my doctor been preaching to the choir about me losing 10 to 15 pounds, but I was perfectly happy with my weight. Even now if it will help with these migraines I will continue to take it!!

I have not had any of the other side effects, just the weird taste in food. Im on a low dosage but maybe that's why. If the migraines do not improve I will ask to switch to something else. All medications have some form of side effects. If it will help these migraines I will try anything. And I would rather not taste food than to have crippling headaches. Until you've had a migraine where you couldnt move, you wouldnt understand. I would rather be pain free than to enjoy food. So If I had to chose, give me the horrible taste in food anday over a migraine!!

My Dr. prescribed me Topamax about a month ago for Migraine prevention. He told me that one of the side effects was that food would start to have a weird taste and I would probably lose weight. Im thinking boy that's a good side effect. He also told me to drink plenty of water to prevent kidney stones, and I may experience tingling in fingers and toes. Im glad you had success with yourrs, my crown came out after less than 2 years and now it's lose again, and will probably have to be replaced with a bridge. I had a bridge done about 6 months ago and it's already giving me problems. I have never heard of a crown not lasting past 2 years. Waste of 500 dollars!!

Yeah I thought I was raising my son right,but one day he called me to come pick him up, this was before he started driving. And he did not hang up the phone, so I could still hear what he was saying. NOT if you are getting major work done, like bridges and crowns!! The basic stuff they are good at, but she needs to refer her patients to professionals( experts in Bridges and Crowns)for major work!!
