  1. The MO has been to Release overly rosey job numbers State they are better Revise numbers upwards for the worse Lather, rinse, repeat. In simple math for the uninformed Week X jobs number is 100 to much fanfare. Later gets revised to 125 and media is silent. Following week jobs number is 115 to even more fanfare! Yay! It's getting better, blah blah. Later gets revised to 130. Get the picture how people are being duped?
  2. Things are up? How's that again? From the previous weeks estimate or the revised numbers? Just another shell game to keep the uninformed, uninformed. We did get the revision from 388K to 392K for the week ended April 21, but the current week, which was expected to print at 379K, came at a far better 365K, a drop of 27,000 from the revised number, which happens to be the biggest percentage drop since July 2011, and the biggest expectations beat since July 2009. In other words, baffle them with bullcheeze.
  3. Why should they? It's personal responsibility and liberty. If she wants to carve herself up to look like a Barbie then that's her business. FFS why is it some loons think that someone should always step in to save someone that "they" deem as unfit?
  4. Doh! Even the liberal NYT have thrown in the media spin towel! A Worrisome Rise in Jobless Claims The odds that the economy has fallen into a spring slowdown – for the third straight year – rose this morning. Ouch!
  5. Trillions in spending and higher taxes are the reason we are not growing. This administration simply wants to expand the welfare rolls because thats what they consider as "Job creation". Until that stops the bleeding will continue. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BLl0oao545s
  6. You mean the bill that includes billions in higher spending and tax increases?
  7. You do know that the fed has missed nearly all there published predictions since fall of 2008 dont you? But you do have to snicker how they pretty much have thrown in the towel. Fed improves 2012 economic forecast, but not much The Federal Reserve on Wednesday looked past recent soft economic indicators and raised its forecast for the U.S. economy, projecting stronger but still subpar growth this year. Old and busted: "Jobless recovery" New hotness: "Stronger but sub par"
  8. No. Obama loathes the Military and only uses them for political purposes. This is what it looks like when the Commander in Chief loves you.
  9. More heavy lifting from NPR, however it seems like they just gave up altogether. "The Associated Press calls the news "a sign that hiring has likely slowed since winter." Whats really happening? What will most likely happen is a print in the mid to upper 380,000s, while last week's number will be revised to a 390K+ print, allowing the media to once again declare that the number was an improvement week over week. In other words, SSDD." SSDD it is: last week's 386K number was revised to 389K, meaning the massive miss relative to expectations of 370K last week just got even worse.
  10. Heres what people dont know in the rush to lynch Zimmerman. From BI Via Reuters A NEIGHBORHOOD IN FEAR In the fall of 2009, a pit bull broke free twice and once cornered Shellie in the Zimmermans' yard. George Zimmerman asked a police officer whether he should buy pepper spray. The cop told him pepper spray wasn't fast enough and recommended that he get a gun. By the summer of 2011, Twin Lakes "was experiencing a rash of burglaries and break-ins." In several of the cases, witnesses said the robbers were young black men In July 2011, a black teenager stole a bicycle off the Zimm
  11. Your schtick is predictable and worn out. You claim something ridiculous then defend it, then retreat when called out for it. Rinse, lather and repeat.
  12. Yes we know. You believe everything you read...on NPR
  13. Bullcheeze, you know exactly what you were inferring and your constant snob attitude is getting old.
  14. His comments were absolutely 100% correct btw.
  15. Oh brother, this crap again? You sound like a broken record.
  16. So what your saying is we should not have the freedom to live where we want? As dictated by so called "elites" and "experts" that know whats better for us then we do? How is someone living in a rural area affecting you and what business is it of yours to begin with? Your concept was something that was used and provided for in communist countries and look how that turned out. Just google communist housing blocks AKA Panelák's and look at the slums that are provided for you in the city so you can walk everywhere whether you like it or not. Snow, rain, blizzard, etc. The worst part
  17. You missed the point altogether. The point was to show the 14 week upward revision and how your liberal media spins it to show a positive. But then again you already admitted on several occasions you have "no understanding what these numbers mean". You just accept them as truth not knowing you are being duped.
  18. From the much beloved NPR Instead of printing at the expected 370K, an improvement from last week's already big miss of 380K, this week came at a whopping 386K, the worst standalone print in 4 months. Well, until last week's revision that is: instead of the 380K print that stunned everyone, last week's number has now been revised to a massive 388K. Why? So that mainstream media can declare, with a straight face, that this week saw the number of initial claims decline! Here is the reality: last week's expectation was for a print of 355K. Instead we got a number of 380K. Now th
  19. Well the teenage idiot did bash zimmermans head into the curb so it is justified. If it where me and the kid raised his hand to me, the last thing he would see would be a bright muzzle flash right between his eyes.
  20. What I dont understand I's all the outrage for what the mother and planned parent failed to do 17 years ago. If she would have done what Zimmerman did 17 years ago, she would be considered brave and a hero in the eyes of the looney left. But when someone else cleans up their mess they are considered monsters?
  21. What we are in need of is more people like Zimmerman and less teenage halfwits.
  22. Oh brother. Just like they pinned the latest big earthquakes in Japan etc, to global warming. Liberals have the ever present self loathing that anything and everything that happens is a result of man. How pathetic.
  23. There are now 88 million American who are “Not In Labor Force,” according to Department of Labor statistics, which the St. Louis Federal Reserve put into this pretty chart: But mostly, the picture was disappointing at a time when all eyes are on the U.S. to help keep global growth humming. The jobless rate, which is obtained from a separate survey of households, edged down to 8.2% from 8.3%, its lowest point in three years. However, that decline was due less to new hiring than people abandoning their job searches.
