Really can't believe that summer is over half over. It doesn't feel like my son has been out for more than 2 weeks. My sisters live out of state and one is in high school, and she isn't going back until almost September, and they got out a few days before my son. We better get to doing fun things, because so far he hasn't even gone swimming yet! Really can't wait until we get into a neighborhood with a pool since hubby won't let us put one up.

Up to 18...though I haven't gotten many older kids...

Congrats on twins! My mom is a twin, but other than that I have no advice. I think your other child being 18 months will definitely be a challenge, but it will all work out. My middle and youngest are 20 months apart.

I agree about the quality. There were some houses that we looked at in there that looked very cheap inside... But the house we looked at was the model home...so it was better and had upgrades. It was very nice...

I must be doing something wrong then, because our house now is only 1,500 sq ft and budget billing was 200 last month and will probably be 250 this month...

We looked at a house in Forrest Hills today... Do any of you live in there? We really like the house we looked at... I'm also curious about your power/gas bill if you do live in there since the houses are so large.....the one we saw was 3,500 square feet. I personally think it's a bit big for us...even though we have 3 kids...but it had the right amount of rooms for us...they were just large...

Isn't your entire post advertising? I don't really care, but some of the other photographers here may. I have enough on my plate right now with 3 kids and trying to find a house, but telling about your business and how you've been featured in Bridal Magazine is...well...advertising. Right? No rudeness intended...I'm just pointing that out.

I got on budget billing last year. Last month my bill was like 95, I think...this month it is 190, so I know it's going to be a lot higher next month. I'm on budget billing, but those are the actual amounts. They increased my budget billing in January and said they are increasing it again because it's the anniversary of when we signed up. But I thought they only did an adjustment once per year...guess it's twice...ugh.

Sure! Well, maybe his 1-year! Of course, I got my kids' pix made every 3 months for the first year, but everyone has their own pic schedule.

Deep breaths. I don't know about DJs, but there are several photographers on here to choose from, and then of course there is Google. I think Bumblebee Bakery makes wedding cakes...I think...? As for table setup and decor, I see a lot of people using craft stores these days...

This one should look better (baby more warm looking) to those of you without calibration...but I wouldn't print this photo...it would make the baby look red.

If the babies look blue to you, it's probably because your monitor is not calibrated. I'd say 99% of people don't have calibrated monitors. I had to pay money for software and a device to calibrate mine. If I edited the photos to where they looked good to people without calibrated monitors, the prints would not look good. They would be too orange/red. Oh, and yes, they are girls...I have tons of baby girls lined up to photograph, but only a couple of boys. I don't know why, but moms of boys don't seem to get photos made as much. Aw, thank you! Well, I do photograph older kids too
