About 8 years ago I owned my own business. The business sales from the year before were $24,000. Needless to say after paying the overhead my son and I had very little left to live on. I applied to those apartments and was told that I made too much money to live there. And that if I were able to adjust my income and get on government subsidies then I would qualify and could re-apply. SAD.

Sadly the whole county is getting bad. I personally love and respect the Sheriff and all the LEO in the county. However, I do see a very big problem taking place. How can they get a handle on it?

I have an idea. We can have the studio and save money. There is an existing building that is for rent/sale that would house it perfectly. The Folklore building. Why must we keep building new facilities when usable ones are sitting empty?

No. But there was a post on here last week that the Krystal there had been robbed and then a few days later the same people attempted to rob the Arby's. It is getting dangerous in our little Mayberry.

I agree with Orbby (post 4). I love that restaurant but can never remember the name. Always has great food and very clean. They will even grill items for you....yumm.

Investigating a wreck from last week that involved a fatality.

I am curious to know the age range of the thiefs. The reason I ask is that as I mentioned in a post yesterday it seems like more and more crimes are taking place in broad daylight in our county by young men. We as a county should be concerned. Look at the Dougherty family that has been on the news this week. I am not saying that it is that bad here but there has got to be something more constructive for people in this age range to do.

My curiousity is up. And I did not even get a Nixle alert....they are slacking.

Awesome. I looked into PennFoster but chose American Home School. It just looked like a better option for us. For the first 4 weeks we will be reviewing and then transferring over to American Home online (I have to wait for my money to catch up with me). It is not too expensive and looks well worth it.

This was an awesome thread. Someone needing help, people there to offer help and suggestions and no fighting. Ended with a nice outcome. I wish more topics on here were this heart warming.
