We ate there last night, it was great. We were their first customers and got ours for takeout. It was clean, good food and very friendly service. It is a family restaurant and their young kids were very happy to see us. I got the talapia and shrimp and really enjoyed it.

It is just my opinion that it is a waste of time. First, the woman was able to check each car thoroughly, wasting her time. She could have been in and out of QT in the time that it took to do that. THEN when you call the police, it goes thru the operator, which takes a moment or two to process, then to the dispatch which takes a few more moments, then to the officer who needs to get in his car and then head to QT. By the time that he/she gets there the "offender" has left the building. Now everybodies time has been wasted. JUST MY OPINION.

BOTH of my parents are/were (mom is gone) handicapped and in wheel chairs. My brother is handicapped and on a walker. I STILL never would have wasted the cops time. We would just sit there until someone moved and taken that spot after giving them a bad look.
-
Theirs.......you know that the person will be gone before they can arrive so that is a total waste of their time.
-
You REALLY wasted time calling the cops???? Wow.
-
Nope. It has become a ME....MYSELF....and I generation. They all think the world revolves around them.

I am sorry that your daughter is ill and hope that she recovers soon. I would think that perhaps if you would approach the bell ringer before your daughter gets out of the car and ask him/her not to ring the bell for a moment until your daughter could walk thru that they would assist you with that. Just a thought.

And there is that too....... I may not know the law # but I know that it is a law in Georgia. Now tomorrow I will make a few calls and get the code # for those that need it. Or you can take your chances and pass the procession and learn the hard way too. Even if it were not a law (which it is)...........it is courtesy.

The set of traffic laws covering funeral processions in the state of Georgia are covered under Title 40, Section 40-6-76 of the Georgia code. The traffic laws exist both to prevent accidents and to preserve the solemn nature of a funeral. For a line of vehicles to qualify as a funeral procession the lead car has to exhibit some kind of banner, flag, or emblem that has been acquired from the funeral home conducting the burial. Features Each car must have its headlights turned on while it is driving in the procession even during the daytime. All of the cars in the procession have the

My friend was ticketed in Cobb last year. Found out the hard way that it is the law.
-
In the state of Georgia...it is a LAW and you will be ticketed. And many funeral processions last for a lot longer than 1 minute.

I do not care who picks my trash up........as long as they are doing their job.

A valid point.

Just a thought........Since Friday I have seen and heard many people talking about "random acts of kindness" Or "pay it forward." Both acts are very nice and I do NOT begrudge them. It seems that everytime a tragedy strikes that people do this, and that is not a bad thing. HOWEVER, perhaps if we followed the Biblical instruction of "be ye kind one to another" EVERY day then we would stop seeing so many tragic events. Think about it, be nice to everyone you see, even if nothing you do is just smiling at them.

Since she will be getting baptized in January and you want a constant reminder........I think that a Daily Devotional Book would be perfect.
