  1. Maybe they've parked the black helicopters and have moved to small, chemical spraying planes. Was this anywhere near the tunnels?
  2. You'd have to have somebody believe them in order to get an "official story" about why they would have been happening. And I don't believe everything from Wiki ... it was just a quick, easy link.
  3. Atmospheric conditions determine how fast they dissipate. But if you want to believe that they are "chemtrails", you go right ahead with that.
  4. It's gotta be something financial/investment related. There was another thread started at the same time with a title that was something like "Tired of losing money in the stock market"
  5. It's at the side of the Woman's [sic] Club building.
  6. Pubby, I won't bother to continue since we all know that you're always right. Enjoy your "light hand."
  7. Even if that somehow were the case, what on earth does that have to do with our local library being closed for a long holiday weekend?
  8. Are you comparing overall stats or exact circumstance crime to crime? (And don't get me wrong ... I do realize it isn't all fair out there.)
  9. I watched the report on WSB last night and at no time did they call it a homicide. Also, who should WSB verify the witnesses story with? The S.O. wasn't there when she was found. The reported didn't say she was naked from the waste up, the witness did. Why are you so quick to rag on WSB for this particular story? Every news agency in the world has stuff like this going on with virtually every story at some point or another. Will you be kind enough to do the same thing with every other thread title about a news story as the details change or the truth comes to light?
  10. I see where you've added that to your other response on it. Back on subject ... I've seen plenty of minorities take a walk from charges like those.
  11. Are you familiar with how our legal system works? Nobody is sentenced to anything within 24 hours. And to your earlier comment ... blame the law makers, not the law enforcers. Oops, my bad ... that wasn't you. It was somebody else.
  12. I'm so confused ... I thought "boo" meant significant boyfriend/girlfriend. Cute baby and I may need to take the rugrats to see that Santa.
  13. It is still entirely possible that it was an accident. I don't want to besmirch the reputation of the deceased and this is purely speculation but it is entirely possible that a bit of alcohol could have been involved. It's also entirely possible that prescription meds, or lack thereof, could be involved. There are a number of explanations for how a person might end up removing some of their own clothing and or falling down stairs. It's also entirely possible that the underwear and panties that were found were unrelated to the incident. Could have blown off a line somewhere, or something.
  14. I still find the title edit by admin to be ridiculous.
  15. I thought it was the Holiday.
  16. Who cares what other neighbors said? Heck, they may well have just been repeating what Mr. .Brown said. The fact doesn't change that the man who found her stated that she was half naked. I don't recall anyone implying a sexual assault. Where did you get that? Regardless of what actually happened, there is a dead woman and most likely someone left behind that loved her. It is a sad day.
  17. You're kidding, right? Neighbors who were not even witnesses? It was the guy who found her that made the statement about her being half naked.
  18. The ownership thing was mentioned in the TV report on the story yesterday. No clue if it has been verified or not. link to video of last night's newscast on the story
  19. This sort of thing (errors in the facts as reported) happens all the time. Not at all sure why some are being so nasty in their attacks on WSB on this one. I guess they don't like it when it happens here but it's not so bad when it happens other places. If we waited for reports to verify every single detail they are given by witnesses, it wouldn't be news it would be history. I hate the media more than most but the reactions on this one (primarily the other thread) are ridiculous.
  20. Hey CR ... a complete book of the regulations and info on each of the WMAs is available free of charge at many retail outlets, including WalMart.
