My sister is a teacher of the year finalist in an award winning school district. All of her students have textbooks. My cousin lives in another state and her children attend one of the best school districts in the nation. All of the students have textbooks. From personal experience I can tell you that the schools in Georgia do not compare with the high quality of education in my home state. Maybe we should be looking at what the best schools are doing right, instead of constantly defending the bookless and mediocre status quo.
