I actually do have a pretty good life and I am very grateful to be blessed with so much love and happiness. I'm not sure why someone would accuse me of living a lie, but the sparkly rainbow part is somewhat accurate. (throws glitter in the air over her shoulder as she exits the room.)

And it was a very good thread full of interesting and timely discussion... until post #25.

So Zimmerman's attorney was correct, as that jury resides in a court of law.

The article proves nothing of the sort, and the only folks who are critical of McDonalds for publishing this budget tool are leftist bloggers. A quick bit of research shows that the Practical Money Skills for Life website was created in 2008, and is only now receiving media attention because an advocacy group for fast food workers (Low Pay is Not OK) dug it up and decided to use it to further their own political agenda. Learning to budget your money properly is a valuable skill no matter how much one earns, even more valuable for low income workers who must make many difficult spending

How does teaching folks to budget their money properly make McDonald's look bad ? ? ?

Is there something wrong with teaching folks how to budget their money properly ? ? ?

Hey Einstein... each one of us has the presumption of innocence until proven guilty in a court of law.

This case had nothing to do with "stand your ground" law, it was classic self defense: http://reason.com/blog/2013/07/14/sorry-the-zimmerman-case-still-has-nothi

Walmart Threatens To Pull Out Of D.C. Over 'Living Wage'

The fact is that Walmart was willing to build stores in locations that no other retailer would touch, and now that the unions have forced them out, the poor will remain unemployed with no place to shop: http://features.blogs.fortune.cnn.com/2013/07/11/will-unions-succeed-in-driving-wal-mart-and-1800-jobs-from-dc/ -

Might want to read up on the areas where these stores were to be built, and then remind us again why folks think Democrats care about the poor: http://www.dcfpi.org/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/9-22-11-ACS-Poverty-Analysis.pdf -

I moved to North Paulding 15 years ago because I wanted a nice quiet place in the country... so far, so good. I have no interest in attracting industrial parks or warehouses or commercial development. I love the tranquil peace and natural beauty of this area, and would not change a thing.

That was a rhetorical question... apparently a 3.5 % profit margin is equal to rape. -

You claimed that there is a measureable difference between profit and rape... where is the government line ? ? ? -

Define living wage... I know that my sister and BIL worked their way thru college while raising three small children because they both had fulltime jobs at WalMart. -

It's really sad when people fall for misleading narratives without bothering researching the actual underlying facts. -

I do not think you understand the economic impact that would result in this economy. $200 billion of economic activity gone, more than food stamps and the EIC combined. -

YOU are the one who called me out by name and accused me of being a racist. I respond to your attack on my character and you accuse me of stalking ? ? ? I welcome any and all debate on the founding fathers vision of limited government. You are ill equipped to make judgments about my motivations or personal character. -

I have made two posts in this thread. One was about the founding fathers vision of limited government and the other was a quote from Thomas Jefferson. I've made no mention of this president nor socialism. Your lazy accusation of racism is unfounded and irrational. -

“To take from one because it is thought that his own industry and that of his father’s has acquired too much, in order to spare to others, who, or whose fathers, have not exercised equal industry and skill, is to violate arbitrarily the first principle of association — the guarantee to every one of a free exercise of his industry and the fruits acquired by it.” - Thomas Jefferson 1816
