A quick bit of research shows that the Practical Money Skills for Life website was created in 2008, and is only now receiving media attention because an advocacy group for fast food workers (Low Pay is Not OK) dug it up and decided to use it to further their own political agenda. Learning to budget your money properly is a valuable skill no matter how much one earns, even more valuable for low income workers who must make many difficult spending
