Our 12 year old got braces in January. We used Dr. John Haynes in Austell. He is VERY easy to work with on the financials. My son's upper teeth are not too bad so he agreed to try only putting braces on the lower set. This helped out a lot with the cost. My suggestion is to use a FSA if you have it available to you. That way it's taken directly from your paycheck and you don't have to pay taxes on that income. Dr. Haynes will make special payment plans suited for your situation (he let us pay 1/2 this January and 1/2 next January). He also has many discount options. For example I agr

Questions about Casey Anthony's defense strategy
allyntine replied to baseballmom's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I haven't heard too much about the Gatorade bottle and syringe that was found at the body dump site. Was it tested for chloroform? Also, in all these jailhouse tapes she is talking about how much she is SLEEPING......if my baby was missing I would not be capable of napping until she was found. I've always heard the guilty will sleep like a baby in jail. -
Well HELLO neighbor.....That's where I live too. Neighbor texted me at 12:45 that power is restored. Greystone's website still says it's down and they were supposed to do an automated call when it was restored and I haven't gotten that either. Just glad that I will only be tossing my fridge food and not freezer too.

Questions about Casey Anthony's defense strategy
allyntine replied to baseballmom's topic in RECENT TOPICS
We all have those people in our families who we look at and think "WHERE THE HECK DID YOU COME FROM????" Casey is that person for the Anthony's. This time she has taken her lies and manipulation too far!!! She'll be mightly lonely WHEN she is in prison. I can not wait to see what her mother testifies too. She has been totally behind her the whole time. I wonder if that is going to change now that she's trying to point the finger at her Dad. -
STILL no power!!!!! It's been out since 6:15 last night. Still can't get through to Greystone. When I check our restoration "status" online it says NOT KNOWN.
-
My entire hood has been without power since around 6:15. Anyone else lose power? I've taken the kids and gone to my sister's house.
-
Guess this means my little neighborhood off Mt. Tabor won't be getting power back for awhile. We've all been out since about 6:15. Everyone around us has power. No sign of a truck and when I have tried to call Greystone it says that my call can't be completed. Wondering if I am stuck at my sister's for the night.

Weird things going on with Casey Anthony trial
allyntine replied to baseballmom's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I knew there was NO WAY this hefer would take a plea. She will blame it on her parents in the end. And yes they probably did have a major role in turning her into a sociopath but they did not kill that baby. It boggles my mind that not ONE person is there to represent the child who lost her life. They are the definition of dysfunctional!!!! Ok yes I am obsessed with this case & have been since day 1. -
Not yet. We are really getting our money's worth out of the attic fan hubby installed last Spring. Found it on Craigslist for $100 and it works like a champ!!!!!! I turn it on when I get home and it sucks all the hot air out and feels wonderful. Plus we live on a very wooded lot so that helps.

Thanks Lady. I hope we make some major moola.

Having a family yardsale this Saturday and we are thinking about selling food & drinks. Is this allowed? We are just going to make some coffee & sausage biscuits for breakfast and hotdogs & chips for lunch. I do not need to get a ticket or anything for not having a permit.

Saw a friend post on FB last night that someone was being life flighted from Crossroads. Can't find anything on here about it. Anybody know what happened?

Well I guess my break is during the week when they are at school. I like the arrangement.....NO HOMEWORK!!!! Well except big projects. It works for us. I think we have a much better arrangment then a lot of people and for the most part we get along. It's just this one issue that really urks me.........but I don't want to play the "it has to stay here" game. Makes me just as dumb as they are.
-
IT was a lot easier when they were younger because stuff didn't cost as much. It wasn't hard to have two of everything. But I can't do two laptops or IPODS etc.... They need them at both places. We split time 50/50 (he has them the 180 days of school & I have them the other 185 days including every weekend and all school breaks. We moved from Cobb and didn't want them to change schools) and if it's something I purchased and am then told that they were not allowed to bring it back to my house.....that makes me very upset. My son generally shows up in the most raggedy shoes he owns a

Totally Agree!!!!!

Ok yes I get that like if you are the only one taking them to church or something. But to go on a shopping spree and show them all their new stuff and then say "but you can't take it with you". That is pulling your anger or contempt or whatever emotion you have for the "other side" and putting it on the child. Why put them in the middle?
-
Ok blended or divorced families got a question………. Do you play the “my stuff stays at my house game” with kids in your family? I think if it’s given as a gift then the child can take it & bring it as they wish. If you want them to have something to play with just at your house then don’t give it as a gift. For the kids in our family we pick up things at yard sales etc to keep for when they are at our house. They are not given as gifts. I REALLY don’t understand doing this with clothing. Kids grow up so fast. I can understand keeping a fair amount at your hous

Saw on wsb last night that she moved here in 1997 from Jerusalem to marry him. Seems like your co-worker is onto something. I have heard that women of that culture are not allowed to take the children when/if they leave. If you have been raised that way then it's engrained in your thinking. Very sad. I am sure as a mother she is heart broken and for her to take such drastic action is telling.... OR.........she left him for greener wallet like I said before but I am starting to really lean towards the other.

She was in contact with her husband while he was driving back from the hunting trip. I think maybe she had already planned her "escape" with (or possibly without) the children for later in the week and that was all out the window when he had to turn around. She freaked out when she knew he was about to be home and left just before he pulled up. I believe her oldest child is 12 so they are old enough to watch younger ones for the 10 minutes she knew it would take before he got there. There could have been preparations made that would have let him know what her plan was and she knew it was

That is the same thing I was thinking. As a mother we all know we are constantly cleaning up. I was thinking maybe she was out there gathering dry towels so they didn't blow away while they were at dinner and somehow lost her balance. Either way it's tragic for all involved. Imagine the scene he found when her son came back from dinner.

Mistrial in Murder Case Because of Atty Incompetance
allyntine replied to Jeanne O'Halleran Law's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I totally believe this is what Casey Anthony's attorny Jose Baez is trying to do!!!!!!! -
Turning left out of Russom Elementary in the mornings is darn near impossible. I usually sit there for several minutes until the small window of oppurtunity opens for me to jet out to the middle and sit in the restricted zone trying to merge. What steps must be taken to get an officer or a signal to help out with morning traffic. There is going to be a horrible wreck one of these days.

Trying to find something to get into this weekend with the kids...... Hoping to be outside. Anything going on? Where can I find events?
-
You're going to wait no matter if you get there first and wait on the bell or get there last and wait on your kid. There are some stupid parents out there!!! AND if your child needs help with their project or belongings.....PARK in the lot and help them walk in!!!! Don't block everyone else while you get out and get their things in order. If they need help out of the car they probably need help into the building too!!!!!!

GOOD!!!! Rid-X is expensive!!!! Thanks for the info.
