Update: Thanks again for the advice. I gave the comfortis last night (on a full stomach) and no problems so far. He doesn't seem to be itching as much, so we will see how well it works. I'm not sure how long it is supposed to be before it takes full effect. Still though he has several small 'hot spots' and I've been putting neosporin on them (vet advice) but it doesn't really work very well ... any suggestions for something that works better is welcomed! @TheCleaningFairy we will try the vacuum idea ... that sounds like a good plan.

Thanks for the help! Sounds like Comfortis is one that works well. Has anyone had a bad experience with this one? I looked it up online and there were alot of reviews .... some great and some were really bad I couldn't find any info on "Program" ... is this new? @NY Gal - Do you get this from your Vet or a store? @fishnthec - We already give the Oil pills and they did seem to help, but he is just itching so bad and scratching that he actually has a couple of raw spots (we are putting cream on these). Please give me some advice on flea control for my dog. We have had fleas before and always got rid of them pretty easily with Frontline type products and some intense vaccuuming. But.... we aren't noticing ANY in the house .... just a couple on the dog and he is having a bad skin reaction from them. Bought some Liberty 50 topical liquid and it doesn't seem to help at all. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also, not sure how soon we can try something new because we just put the topical on him 2 weeks ago and it is supposed to last for 1 month. I have an 'old' Dell Laptop and it will not power on .... this happened once before (several years ago, when it was under warranty) .... back then, I called the service dept at Dell and they told me to press and hold some keys down and then it worked again ... problem is I don't have a clue what they told me now as it has been a loooong time Anyone know?
