I have AT&T home phone and internet. I have comcast premium (160 channels) and HBO with HD and DVR. So ..... I want to switch to a bundle with comcast to save $$$ Also, I want to add netflix for streaming but have no idea how to do this (my TV's are older and do not have wifi). Suggestions??? What would you do to package this? (I have looked online and called (that was bad). They seem to have a lot of pricing games.

My hubby is having problems with his glaucoma (pressures spiking) he has had several drops that don't seem to be working. Doc told him that he has open angle glaucoma and that his pressures spike with activity. The doc also told him that he wants to talk about lazer surgery and if that fails something called filtration surgery. I looked these up via an internet search and they don't sound ideal to say the least. He has already had two prior surgeries for detached retina and one cataract surgery in this eye. Very leary of another surgery but also don't want to let pressures stay uncontrolled.

LR, I can understand that you have seen her MD for a long time and that you are comfortable with her, however if you haven't had a second opinion from another Pulmonologist ... I would consider getting one, especially since they have been treating her to the best of their ability and she is continually getting worse. It doesn't mean that you have to change doctors, but if there are alternative treatment measures that other doctors are using then finding out about them may be benificial. It is very difficult to watch someone that you love declining in health and quality of life. My prayers are

question for the arthritis of the knee sufferers
FionaLondon replied to Mama Carol's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Ice a few times a day and before bed for about 15 minutes duration should help with pain and some minor swelling. A bag of frozen peas or corn will conform to your knee area pretty well. If you have a good bit of swelling the doc may want to drain some fluid accumulation from the knee. The hyaluronic acid injections are very helpful for some people depending in the cartilige loss and whether or not any other problems/contributing factors are present that may need to be addressed seperately. These injections can last from several months to several years and some of the newer ones are given as -

When they begin to have activities that are away from your immediate reach. If they only go places with family/friends and you do not have any worries that you will be able to reach them, then no worries.
