If the site is correct, there are fewer than 33 jobs at the Job Fair, because the 33 positions are split between Six Flags and Whitewater. -

At least it was close and we didn't have to go far. -
Six Flags White Water will hold a job fair March 23 to fill 600 positions this season, but the applications must be submitted online by Sunday. The applications are available at sixflagsjobs.com and must be completed before an interview invitation is issued. No walk-up interviews will be allowed at the job fair, and you must be 16 or older to apply, according to Six Flags spokeswoman Emily Murray. The openings are for food service, retail, park services, security, admissions, lifeguard and parking lot positions. You must be at least 18 to apply for the security positions. The March 23

Need Car Wash near Nebo & Dallas Nebo

Funny story. Went to this one this morning and discovered we had to go into the McDonalds to pay and get a code, so I did. Woman behind the counter said that the operator just left for Ballgorund and said that it wasn't working properly. She tried to call him and he didn't answer or call back quickly. You think they would close the gate or something if it wasn't operation properly. Still a funny story, I think, but we'll try somewhere else on Friday. -

30 years and counting. Our Anniversary is today
AustinPlantation replied to surepip's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Congratulations. My lovely wife & I will be hitting the big 40 at the end of March. We are lucky to have our daughter and family near here, with two of our grandkids, but they occasionally mention moving. Our Son and family are up North and we skype with them occasionally and visit about twice a year. They finally may visit here when my wife reaches 70 in May. I know you'll make it to 40 years with the wonderful stories and memories you tell. -

we heard the blasts too by nebo/dallas nebo and it knocked out power for a second. -
I know we've passed a few in the area, but don't remember where? I see there's one on Ridge Road --- is that automatic? Anyone been there? Where else near here?

The temperature in the Dallas and Hiram area is expected to drop to 27, but Saturday's high could reach 71.

I never receive these calls either on my cel.

Waste/Recycling Service Changes Pickup Day
AustinPlantation replied to AustinPlantation's topic in RECENT TOPICS
So does mine, but I can put out an extra box of stuff and I occasionally go up to the Recycling Center in Dallas. -
In case you aren't aware, Got mail today and Waste Industries is changing Waste & Recycling Pickup Days, mine from Tuesday to Wednesday, starting March 18th. They also changed tow bi-weekly recycling pickup to the same day, but also changed the week of pickup, so it will be over 3 weeks for my next pickup. I'm happy with my service, so I called to try to get an intermediate pickup, but they offered me a one week credit instead. I'm paying $38 a quarter fo both Waste and Recycling pickup. The credit for 1-week recycing should be less than $1. But call if you're in the same s

You just missed a free spay/neuter day on March 9th. The next vaccine clinic will be on Friday, April 5th. The next CatSnip low-cost spay/neuter clinic will be on Tuesday, April 9th --- see the Paulding Humane site for info.

That's what we did and it helped. Folks don't want to see an empty house. (We also had a house sitter through an agency, but I don't recommend that. Guy didn't want to leave when the house was sold.)

Should there be a Pcom suggestion box ?
AustinPlantation replied to CitizenCain's topic in RECENT TOPICS
There are plenty of ways of making suggestions now, PMing PUBBY or the moderators, or even putting it into a post with a poll like this one. Having seen comments from some on other posts, I believe suggestions should be private. -
Weird Georgia Laws You Might've Accidentally Broken
AustinPlantation posted a topic in RECENT TOPICS
Weird Georgia Laws You Might've Accidentally Broken Law-abiding folks—we used to think of ourselves as members of that sainted group. But after a little legal digging, it's become painfully clear that we're not quite the goodie-two-shoes we once thought we were. Because, depending on your geographic location in the state of Georgia, you may very well be, unbeknownst to you, breaking a law or three. Or so we hear. And if you've the propensity for "vulgar vituperation" that we do? Might as well turn yourself in. Whistling Too Loudly Whistling too loudly and after 11:00 p.m. Sunday thro -
Yes, we made the wrong turn the first time we went there. My GPS wanted me to turn left, instead of right, from Barrett Parkway. It was definitely worth going there. They are the best!!!

We skype with our other grandkids up North. You can get a TV or BluRay Player that has Skype built in, so they will show up much better than on a PC.

Have you looked at Harry's by the Big Chicken? They always have all sorts of things you won't find elsewhere.

After a few visits, I think Myrtle Bch would be a cool place to move to, but not leaving the grandkids here. Beach --- entertainment --- more. Huricanes could be a problem though.

Just got some Vtech phones that can receive home and cell calls. When we drop home, and we will, we'll be able to receive cel calls in different parts of the home. Cel just needs tp be put in a charger neer the base.
