  1. At least you got the last part right. I'm still waiting to be told I'm the boss. I told her the other day I was king of the castle and she told me to go sit on my throne.
  2. Like I said before, it is a no win situation with people like you. You say the cops should let the system do it's work, not be judge, jury and executioner. Then when the system does it's work and you don't like the outcome, then it was rigged or bought off or a conspiracy. I have learned over the years, although I frequently forget it, that to spend my time talking, discussing or arguing with someone who has a closed mind, does no good for me or the other person. And don't forget Kate!
  3. Last night the wife forced me to take her Last night my wonderful bride and I spent a few hours together driving and looking at Christmas lights. I wish to thank MsGaStorm for her very helpful tips on where to go. I put all these into the GPS and along with a few side trips where things looked interesting, we visited all of the places she suggested. We ended the night with a visit to the Felix Lights and while everyone's display were quite lovely, I think we were right to make that our finale. The wife and I, after a rocky start (yes, it was my fault), had a wonderful time and it was a
  4. Yeah, this guy was bad news waaaay before the "hands up" and "can't breath" stuff. People who say that doing things like killing the police, rioting and other illegal acts are ok, if you are protesting a perceived injustice, help people who are already inclined to such acts, think it is ok to actually commit those acts. Pubby was right about mob mentality as far as that goes. You don't help calm a fire by pouring gas on the flames. That is why I hope that all of our leaders, both elected, appointed or self appointed, say and do the right thing from here own out. What is the right thing
  5. If the only teams we had to play all year were the teams in our division, we would be 14 and 2 at the end of the season.
  6. I am sure that the word "cool" was not what this diver was thinking at that time. Maybe later. Wow. Just, Wow.
  7. "An agenda? Do you have proof of this agenda? Can you elaborate?" I can help answer these questions, "You sir.", is my answer. 90+% of what you post is nothing but the tearing down of our courts and the people who serve in them. That is an agenda. I understand that you are trying to bring to light perceived injustices, but when it appears that all you ever see is injustice, then I tend to start dismissing your opinions. After all, there has to be some good mixed in with all that injustice, even if it was just done by mistake, after all, no one is perfect and occasionally they have to m
  8. Nope, being a member of the same weight class myself, I don't throw that stone.
  9. I know what you can get them for Christmas. (hint: it is something the obviously need)
  10. It's not controversial, it's not political, it's not even anything serious or life changing. I just thought it was kinda cool. Cracking an egg underwater. https://pbs.twimg.com/tweet_video/B5ZksU7IcAAzV3f.mp4
  11. If you don't think that the current situation in this country is highly volatile at this time and that the flames of violence haven't been fanned by those who have an agenda, then I have nothing to say, because you cannot help those who refuse to see or hear. I am so sick and tired of those who preach, "we are a nation of laws, the police are not judge and jury, we have courts for that" and then when the legal system adjudicates a situation and the decision is not to these same people's liking, they then cry "it was rigged, it wasn't fair, it was a conspiracy". You cannot have it both
  12. I actually have no reply to this quote, I just thought that since this thread was resurrected, it might be helpful if we were reminded of what the original post said....you know, the post that received over 40 plus likes. Given the circumstances of the past few days, as well as the past few months, I think it is important to remember that while we all differ about this or that, the number of likes this post received shows that most of us do support those officers who put their lives on the line every working day, who are good officers and who do try and do their jobs as best and fairly as
  13. North Korea is well known for state sponsored hacking. The state trains hackers by the thousands. The reason for this is simple, North Korea is a poor country and training hackers to cause problems, turmoil and confusion and to attack your enemies is a lot cheaper then sending missiles and armies. It also allows for the possibility that the cyber attack did not even come from you.
  14. I reread this thread twice and I still missed the part where anyone wants to have a lynch mob, much less said mob wishing to lynch pubby. (or pubby's house)
  15. See the thread about the 1800's for confirmation.
  16. I think and hope that one thing we can all agree on, and I am sure we do, is that this is sad thing. The only thing that I have to say at this moment is that I hope and pray all of our leaders do and say the right thing.
  17. And you said them illegal aliens weren't connected to terrorists.
  18. I like the fact that it specifies 30 yrs. I guess if you are at 29 1/2 yrs, they won't take you.
  19. It used to be a lot easier to commit someone to a mental institution. Here is a list of reasons that someone could be committed to the bug house from 1964 to 1889. While there are some good ones on here, I think my favorites are, Suspicion Of Husband Murder and Gathering In The Head. I have to admit that Novel Reading is another real good one, along with Seduction And Disappointment. They sure were worried about how often you did or did not have self love back then, weren't they.
