  1. Well I was not supposed to eat candy, but since you like him, just for you I will get a candy bar from the vending machine and eat it. In fact, I like you soooo much, that I will eat two candy bars. (anyone else like that annoying little geko?) (I can eat the candy bars....or more if needed.....I'm just giving that way)
  2. That wishes a car would run over the Geico gecko? I kinda liked him at the start, but now he just makes me wish a large tractor trailer would come by and.......squish. Dang, I'm in kinda a violent mood tonight. Must be the lack of sweets.
  3. What is wrong with Mayberry? People seem happy there. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lli9ABUFZCU

  7. I hope the hubby is doing ok. Piedmont Hospital knows what's what, I was born there. (did you see my plaque?)
  8. I have no clue. But like my example, the Smyrna PD could not do a report on an accident that happened in the middle of that intersection. CCPD had to be called.
  9. I understand. While I won't say that those who don't like at least one of Mel Brooks's movies don't have a sense of humor, I will wonder. The Producers (Dick Shawn alone, is fall down funny in it) Blazing Saddles (maybe not everyone's cup of tea, but....) Young Frankenstein (ok, if this one doesn't tickle your funny bone, at least a little.....?) Silent Movie (ehh, not a bad experiment)(a little wordy) High Anxiety (not my favorite, but it has it's moments) History of the World Part One (not as good as the 1st three, but good) To Be or Not To Be (I liked the original with Lombard a
  10. The're scaring you! I live there.
  11. Uhhhhh, have you had a checkup lately? What about The Producers with Wilder and Mostel? What is you favorite comedy movie?
  12. Back when my kid was in his 1st year of middle school, he left his sweater on the back of his seat when he left the classroom. He said he got about two classrooms away, realized he had left his sweater and went back, it was gone. The next week he saw a girl leaving the lunchroom with his sweater on. He told a teacher but the student had just gone through the lunchroom doors and the teacher said, I can't be bothered running students down. After he told me this, I went and saw the lady who handled parents complaints for the 6th grade. (it is the 6th, isn't it?) I told her the story and she
  13. You have to like Young Frankenstein, right....right....right?
  14. This is not a reason for why the GSP handles some traffic accidents in Paulding, but it does illustrate LE jurisdictions. Back in the mid 70's, any wreck at the intersection at Atlanta Rd and Collier Dr (where the Presbyterian church is located) was handled by the Cobb County police. Any accident that was not in the intersection was handled by the Smyrna police. The intersection was under the coverage of the county, any accident in the middle of the intersection was handled by Cobb county police, and accident not in the middle of the intersection was handled by the Smyrna police The way I u
  15. I do like me some old C&C, but not as much as I did when I was still rockin the ganj. (see people, I'm hip)
  16. It's because of the bodies in the basement, isn't it.
  17. Now that is a CAT. And that is a dangerous dog. (another good word for dangerous dog, is "dead" dog) My 4 lb, 15 year old, female cat will sometimes get upset and swat at the 70 lb bulldog. It is sad to see, the cat is whacking away at the dog, in the dog's face, and the dog doesn't even know it.
  18. Pryor was scheduled to play Black Bart, but the studio was afraid of him not being able to do it, due to his drug use. (that may have been covered on the DVD also) I think it was better with Cleavon Little. Pryor is a little too broad.
  19. I like the idea of a gun tip a week type of thing. That would be a good way to not only give information, but others could add their experience to the thread as well. While I may not always like his way of typing his thoughts on topics, I do respect Nitro's input on guns, perhaps he could start a tip a week thread. Unless I am mistaken, he is an firearms instructor and an avid re-loader.
