stercus tauri replied to stercus tauri's topic in RECENT TOPICS
LGBT agenda? Exactly what is the "agenda?" You mean encouraging honesty, thrift, character, leadership, and teaching life skills are LGBT agenda items? Please explain the LGBT agenda that is pushed onto the girls. http://www.girlscouts.org/en/faq/faq/social-issues.html -
Girls Scouts a liberal organization?

Disagreeing with a decision and severing ties, refusing meeting space, and urging young girls to join another organization are two different things, no? -
Culture wars over Girl Scouts. This is getting ridiculous. I never once remember being taught anything at all what the organization is being accused of in this article. https://www.yahoo.com/news/kansas-archdiocese-ushers-girl-scouts-cookies-204603501.html

OK slashed taxes and now has budget crunch
stercus tauri replied to stercus tauri's topic in RECENT TOPICS
ROLF! Brownback's spin that everyone is laughing at. Don't forget that much of those "new businesses" are new LLC formations of existing companies designed to take advantage of the LLC tax exemption. Very few of these are new jobs. http://cjonline.com/news/2016-11-22/fact-meter-brownback-falsely-claims-state-income-tax-revenue-growth http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/opinion/zorn/ct-kansas-conservative-brownback-economic-disaster-zorn-perspec-0518-jm-20160517-column.html http://www.gctelegram.com/opinion/false-claim-brownback-misses-mark-on-job-creation-in-kansas/article -

Then how do they make up the shortfall when those things have already been cut? Answer: cut those even more. Result: no more program at all. -

Do you have any reading comprehension ability at all? Schools, which receive half of state-appropriated funds, are feeling the brunt of the shortfall. The Tulsa district is proposing to close four schools and scrap some sports programs. The state and regional science fairs were listed for elimination until a private donor came forward with a $50,000 check. Teachers have not received a raise since 2008. Many state agencies have had their budgets cut by 40 percent over the last three years. But the spending cuts so far have not been enough to close a projected $900 million gap. L -

So the answer is to cut public education, road work, Medicare, etc., COMPLETELY. Got it. The wealthy can afford all those things already, especially since the tax cuts benefit them the most. -

You missed the point. I was talking about Mrs Howad's answer to every foreign policy problem, not necessarily every national answer. Then again, Libya and North Korea and apples and oranges. That's not right. Apples and sea bass. -

Not simply because they "opposed to the LGBT takeover of the ladies room," which is an inaccurate statement to begin with. It is a neo-fascist media outlet that gives a forum and tacit approval of white nationalism. You should also do more research on the "Mainstream folks don't agree with the pushy LGBT agenda<" because you would be seriously wrong on that statement.

Sovereign nations. I'm sure there are other nations who don't like how we do things and we do a lot of things wrong. I suppose you would support other, stronger and larger nations invading us because they don't like the fact we have capital punishment as an example?
