I was thinking the same thing. I wonder if that's true for all house built in the 90's. A water heater and laundry in the basement and no where for the water from a leak to go and then you discover the carpet and wall around where the water heater and furnace is soaked through.

There are probably some students that would think it was funny and others would be offended or would have their feelings hurt. This reminds me of the detergent commercial where the dad sees the daughter's short white skirt hanging to dry and he grabs it with very dirty hands thinking he's ruined it so she can't wear it and the mom finds it and gets all the stains out, the daughter wears it and the dad has a very disapproving look on his face. It is really hard to concentrate on anything else when your child is not well (we are dealing with issues with my son right now). Praying for quick healing for your daughter, rest for her parents and a pick-up in your business.

I heard the thunder first and then a lot of lightning. Had a hard time going to sleep and then got the code red calls. Heard the siren too. I appreciate the phone calls but it would be better to get the call before the storms get here rather than while they're passing through or almost over.

It's really heartbreaking when you find out your child is in so much pain and you didn't even realize it. We need to pay more attention to our kids when they talk about things being said or done to them and I agree that it needs to stop.

Read a story on abcnews about two eighth grade girls in Minnesota that hanged themselves while one was spending the night with the other. They even wrote letters to their families and so it appeared they had been planning it for a while. What a sad story. Apparently there had been bullying at school.
